Empress_Owl: Hihi... you're scary, BillyMaysSanta...
I didn't even have to click on your link to remember which song it was... hihi ^^
How are you doing ?? :)
LOL I'm actually not satisfied with this avatar - I think I'll try something else
Ok, this time I'm going to jump in randomly as I always do. So yesterday I changed a small lamp bulb in my table lamp. I bought LED G9 220-240V 2W bulb; 15,2x49mm, Ra >= 80, 100%/2s, 2kvh/1000h. I believe you get some idea on what kind of bulb it is, it emits a kind of white light and heats very very slowly.

The thing, why I am writing about this at all, is that when I move any object in the light of this lamp, it feels like I am seeing 20 frames of the object, going fast behind the object in the same path. Sort of like a snake's tale. Doing same thing in any other light, this effect is not visible.

So I am asking you: what kind of possessed lamp did I buy? Have you seen such?
Just popping in before heading out for the day to say good time-of-day to the lovely folks of the thread. I hope you all have a wonderful day! To those that celebrate it, happy Thanksgiving!

We're off to spend the day with the lady's parents and some family friends. Enjoy yourselves, folks, and don't do anything I wouldn't do!

I guess we shall leave to imagination the things you wouldn't do. Thank you! And have a wonderful day yourself!

I know what you mean... I don't know why it does that sometimes... you should change this bulb ; yours would give anyone headaches... :)

Headaches, you say, mm?.. I think I've got a weapon! A faster way to get rid of unwanted guests.

_ "Ok, you may stay... but look at my lamp !!" >:-|
_ ... e__e ?...
Scenario 1 (probability : 54%) your guest doesn't see anything special and stares at you as if you were crazy.
Scenario 2 (probability : 25%) your guest starts to feel dizzy and thow up on your favourite carpet.
Scenario 3 (probability : 17%) your guest thinks you are trying to hypnotize him ; he punches you in the face.
Scenario 4 (probability : 4%) your guest starts to have a headache and leaves.

I love your statistics!
Sc.1: guest thinks I'm crazy and leaves. Goal achieved.
Sc.2: I don't have a carpet. But cleaning room is not sexy. Goal is too messy.
Sc.3: I doubt I'd be punched, but still. Goal is risky.
Sc.4: Well, guest leaves and I am more or less satisfied.

I shall neutralize the weapon immediately.
Happy Birthday, Thanksgiving, Thursday or anything else that applies. :-)
Doing OK here, looking at games and deciding what to play today.
Hope everyone is well or on the way to it.
