I figure that if I get part of it done now I'll have a slightly more relaxed weekend when my friends and family come over. :) Good to hear you survived the errands, I saw your warnings against shopping just before Thanksgiving. I once went shopping the day before Christmas, and that was a complete disaster. :P

Doing all right here. Picking up some games, checking sales, trying to see how far I can stretch my budget.

Pretty quiet, I spent most of it reading a book for a class on Scottish literature, and now I'm trying to get started on an essay for that same class too.

My wallet says it wants a break. I make it suffer more anyway. =)

Sounds peaceful, unless people were screaming while you tried to concentrate on the reading.

Haha yeah, sounds sort of like me. :P But I try to be rational and keep reminding myself I have to pay rent and tuition fees ... sometimes it works. :)

It was quite peaceful, except that the book is kind of freaky. I'm actually quite enjoying it thus far, but the dystopian surrealist descriptions can get very weird indeed. o.o

Sorry folks, I got a bit distracted there. It looks like one of my external drives is on the way out, although its difficult to be sure because the pc is behaving a bit like Windows at the moment, and by that I don't mean its all going smoothly. I might try reinstalling the OS and seeing if that sorts things out.
