ddickinson: Is it The Witcher 1 that has the ladies boobs jiggle about in the opening scenes of the game? I saw a clip of one and she was just walking yet they were bouncing around all silly. I will never understand the whole point of the jiggle features, it just looks silly most of the time and out of place. But I guess many love it as more and more games do it now. I wonder if they will start to give the men jiggle technology? o_O :-)
Well apparently The Order 1886 for PS4 has a visible penis in it (during a brothel scene) - don't know if it jiggles though
*waves to Joker, Fearful* *edits in a wave to N2T3 as well* ;-)

Ah! Owl! Fearful! Now that you two are here, maybe you can answer DD's question better than I can. About how long does each Blackwell episode take to complete? Am I right that Epiphany was longer than the others, or is it just my imagination?

ddickinson: Let's hope you get more than okay as the day goes by.

I am good, thank you. A little sleepy, but good.
Should be possible, thank you :)

Good to hear - well sleepiness is nothing unusual in this thread :)

j0ekerr: The sword in the stone inspired one of the sweetest most diabeetus inducing pieces of writefaggotry I've ever had the fortune to read. If it weren't already awesome, that'd be enough for me.
Haha, I wasn't aware of that. :P I did always feel a bit sorry for the squirrel.

j0ekerr: That's nice to know, that you're well enough to enjoy a nice evening out. Step by step. :-)

Gods. I don't tire of listening to "Beyond the Red Mirror".

PS: This bit with the matrices is done. Onto determinants now!
Thank you. It took a bit out of me, but being at a friends place was a lot more relaxing as I did not have to worry too much about being tired or light headed.

Empress_Owl: Ho great :) a nice restful evening then... too bad you were not feeling too well though... :\ I hope you're feeling better now...
My evening was peaceful... played some video games after the little one was in bed... :)
I am feeling about the same, if not a little worse at the moment, but it's nothing to worry about.

Did you play anything fun?

FearfulSymmetry: I fell asleep so I missed your conversation on the Black Cauldron, but I agree that it is very good. It always frightened me as a child but I like it a lot now, and John Hurt delivers a fantastic performance as the Horned King.
It was quite scary for a Disney cartoon, but I really liked it, it is one of my favourite Disney movies. Have you seen The Last Unicorn? That has a very similar feel to it.

FearfulSymmetry: Hi all! *waves* :)
Hi *re-wave*
How are you?

avatar
j0ekerr: Good moaning.
I had one of those wanting to bang your head against the wall moments yesterday.
I'm at the library, doing some math problems and I'm stuck on this one. I give up and try to ask for help. Fortunately a group of biotech girls in front of me have math background and they offer to help me. So I bring my notebook over and start to describe one of them what I've been doing and while I do so, I realize I had multiplied the wrong bit.

So anyways how are yez? I've got stuff to do, like always. And almost sure I won't be able to finish it in time but what the hell. Let's try anyways.
Greetings. Okay here - how are you aside from having stuff to do...

Ehhhhhhh ... That's a really difficult question because I never pay attention. :P A few hours? HowLongToBeat says it's 3-4 hours for the first few episodes, so that seems to be more or less correct. I do remember the last one being longer, and that's also what HowLongToBeat says.

*friendly wave* :)

No, I haven't. I've seen some animated things outside Disney, but I missed out on a lot and haven't quite caught up yet. It's a good film, then? :)

ElTerprise: Hi *re-wave*
How are you?
Hi! *hug* How are you doing?

I'm pretty good. I just read a few chapters of Lanark and am about to eat some breakfast now.

Hummm nope. I'm afraid that wouldn't be enough :)

et toi?
couci-couça too... :)
I don't know why, I don't feel "happy" today. Physically good, but a bit sad... it will pass !

ddickinson: That sounds... classy. <- [sarcasm]. :-)

It wouldn't look so bad if it was scaled back and more "normal" but often they seem so fake and over-exaggerated to the point that it just looks silly and distracting, not realistic. The technology might be there, but for a lot of the male audience's attitude towards such things is not there. Most would hate that kind of thing, the same way they do with a lot of things if you take the female stereotypes in games and apply them to men in games.
Very classy B-| ... (and honestly, one of the most awkward and out-of-place concepts in a game that is meant to be serious and mature.)

It's the same with movies and TV. Most guys don't want to see penises. I think it makes them insecure about their own sexuality. Like they are afraid they'll turn gay if they see one. We are kinda a silly bunch :-p

I can't remember... I'd say, yes, Epiphany is longer, but how many hours to complete each, I didn't take notes...

Hum... ok. Let's not worry then :)
Yes, I tried "puzzle agent", which is a funny silly little puzzles game... I didn't play for a very long time.
Monday I tried "Metro"(but I'm terrible at FPS) and played a bit of "Never Alone", which is a beautiful and peaceful game.

Don Bluth makes some really good cartoon, often with nice adult themes in there as well. As for The Last Unicorn, I want to say yes it is good, but I have not seen it for years, so I could be just using nostalgia goggles on it. But I think it is a good movie, nothing ground breaking, but very nice with an interesting plot.

That is when it annoys me the most, when something juvenile is in a game that is supposed to be serious. I mean, in a game like Leisure Suit Larry then okay, but more serious games should not really do such cheap and often childish tricks to appease the teenage gamers.

That is probably right. But according to South Park there are lots of "wieners" in Game of Thrones. :-)
