It's been eight days. Thinking the next round will come on Thursday, putting the gap at just under two weeks and starting the sale at the beginning of the new month so people can jump on it before their budgets get pulled in other directions by competitors.

Xmas sale? Well my wallet is dry already... but the backlog is still huge, so no problem.

I've managed to put a few hours into Witcher 3 (after two weeks...). Finished Hearts of Stone. But at the current speed I won't be through the game before Blood and Wine is released...

Weather update, It was -20 degrees celsius today outside. Working five hours outside wasn't that bad, Because as we say in sweden, "Kläder efter Väder".

We actually had some (very little) snow. When I think that ~20 years ago it wasn't that uncommon to have snow in the midst of October... and we had 14°C only a few days ago. Some people were walking around in t-shirts and shorts...

It's never really a major concern for those of us with backlogs in the hundreds or more.

That sounds like a game that takes a long time to chew through, even if the person can devote a lot of energy to it.
