AgentBirdnest: (Battle Realms code sent.)
Torchlight was a freebie here at one point. You might get lucky and find someone who has a spare code for that too, since just about everyone has it.
I agree. Sci-fi strategy is always good :-) There are quite a few space ones here, but... I have a nasty habit of buying every space game and forgetting about it 12 minutes later, so I haven't played any of them :-p

dfektive: Haha. That's something I don't want to happen. 500 games and not enough time to try them out. I'm going to make sure my picks are worth the money spent and that I have given previous buys enough time to see how it is I feel about them. I will always play the 5 I bought on day 1 since they are the reason I am here. The 6 others (3 free due to BFS) are a decent bonus. I just don't want to go overboard on purchases and end up with titles that end up collecting dust.
[BR code worked = 12 count now] xD
Again, Much thanks for that and I will be checking it out later on today.
If you're looking for RPG stuff, a good place to start would be the classic D&D bundle that GOG does.
You get your straight RPG's by way of Baldur's Gate 1 and 2, Icewind Dale 1 and 2, Planescape, Neverwinter 1 and 2, while getting a bit of variety in the tactical turn-based RPG of Temple of Elemental Evil, action from Demon Stone and D&D-flavored RTS from Dragonshard.

And since you're looking to play what you get, it works well if you're on a budget since it's less than 30 and you end up with a few hundred hours of play time from it all.

Hi, Threadfolk :-)

Please find Moonshineshadow, PalioDeMonte and Gnostic and wallop them all with a couple of tons of +1 happiness for my completely unexpected Community Giveaway gift! Thank you :-)

There's enough warmth coming out of my monitor to make my cheeks red :-)

How's everyone's day so far? Please say good... :-)

How lovely of them :-) Will commence with +1ing!

As for me, yes, I am having a good day so far :-) Not the most exciting day, but it doesn't have to be. It's a quiet and pleasant one.

Just out of curiosity, what was your gift?

Hey :-)

Its going OK, mightily enhanced by my dose of good fortune :-)

Sounds like you caught up on your sleep. After this morning's 4am raucity I'm feeling pleasantly tired myself, so tonight I'll hopefully make up for what I missed.

My back feels a bit better as well, after what can best be described as an extremely dodgy early few hours. Fingers crossed it'll improve even more tomorrow. My mind has got this ageing thing licked, its just my body that's lagging...

Can't find the bundle.. doesn't come up.
Those that you listed I've been looking into and reading up on. Especially NWN which apparently everyone owns. I also started to check out Dragonshard it seems promising.
Budget is not a thing. I only meant I don't want to spend on what will go unused due to getting hooked on other/better titles. What did you mean by "it's less then 30"?

Good you're having a good day :-) Quiet days are nearly always good days, in my book.

I was gifted Panzer Elite Special Edition, which, being a sucker for a bit of warmongering, had been on my list for some while. I think GOGwarmth should be officially recognized as a new and definable element. Really amazing....

Yeah, kinda had to, I think. Way too much chair sleeping, which amounts to dogshit levels of restfulness.

That's good. Did you set off the problem by exertion, or did it just decide to torture you for giggles?

There's another sale coming some time in December. Since the bundle didn't show up during the fall sale, odds are good that it'll be around then.

Neverwinter is all right, but the Baldur's Gate series, Icewind series and Planescape have it beat in singleplayer, I think.

I was referring to cost. All of the titles when bundled are less than 30 dollars in total.

Good you're feeling revived. :-)

I got bored laying on my back so rolled onto my side, which I suppose falls into the giggling category. H-ha, back, very funny. The root of all this goes way back to when I was a zealous teen determined to exercise as far as his body would allow. Its only now that I realize where those limits were. Hindsight's really great for making a person see just how dim they are...

Oh I see. Well, I'll be looking out for it for sure and I saved all the titles you mentioned as well.
Thanks much for the info there. I'm glad to have gotten any responses at all 8D

Ah, the wonderful time-delay effect. I don't really have that with my back (that's been more of a current, all the time mess after a couple car accidents and that fall down the cement stairs), but it's definitely come up with my hands a bit.
Turns out that punching things eventually catches up with you as well, especially when you're punching things like doors...walls...elevator cars...pillars with that jagged stucco crap on them that's supposed to make them look nice but doesn't, it just punches tiny little puncture holes in your hands...

Not a problem. Tried to stop myself rather than go full-on let's bury the person in games list. That can be a bit overwhelming.

You only really understand the amount of avoidable wear and tear you put yourself through when you get to be too old to do the things that wore and tore you avoidably. By that time the pains you created for yourself become irritating head-nodding companions who keep saying things like, 'I told you so,' and 'You wouldn't listen, would you.' Which probably explains why the grey-templed amongst us can sometimes be heard shouting things like 'Go fuck yourself!' in public places at no one in particular. (I haven't got that far myself yet, but I can sense it coming...). :-)

Or they can be seen running into oncoming traffic in the city center of Dublin, pausing to beat up a bus with a cane while shouting obscenities ...
