Friend_ape: Okay, yeah that's what I figured. But of course I just felt it better to dump something in the thread before actually reading everything.
Can't really expect anyone to keep up with this thread. It's not uncommon for 20 pages to go by in a day. We tend to get chatty, hence the "conversational" part of the title ;-)

Empress_Owl: I love Snoopy !!!
But I prefer real books.... :) I sstill haven't switch to tablets for reading...
I agree. I also have not ( and won't be) switching to tablet ebooks. I prefer the feel of turning an actual page with the world in my hand. Plus I've spent far too much on my Dragonlance collection. ^-^

Try Horus Heresy next or The Witcher.

ElTerprise: Cool....for once i'm olde school :D
That's definitely an advantage of ebooks and recently actually loaded some epubs on my smartphone because the subway is often way too crowded to read a book. And i actually like the idea of Umberto Eco who dreams of a vast digital library of books from which you can print those the way you like. A nice utopia :)
Yeah sounds nice, especially if it's free :)
Umberto Eco is a pretty cool dude :) Have this one book of his, never got around to reading it with time The Island of the Day Before - amazing stuff...

dfektive: Good good. Just finished a game of KKnD right now, was victorious. = )

ElTerprise: Hello.
Good to hear that. That reminds me to actually play that one as well :)

Don't know if he meant it to be free although i could imagine that.
He is. I read Name of the Rose, The Prague Cemetry and Baudolino by him and some of his non-fictional stuff as well.

Hi Crow. That's a new greeting from you :)

Doing fine - how are you?

-laughs- Too much chair sleeping makes me informal, apparently.

Can't complain here. Thinking of something to do for the anniversary. Aside from that, just the usual stuff happening. Nothing too terribly exciting.

Sounds about right. Could, but who wants to hear that crap. Would rather talk about silly stuff and video games.

Listening to loud music and having a drink in between sorting game icons on my desktop.

Well at least that sounds like a less painful effect from chair sleeping ;)

Glad to hear that. Don't you mean the Threadversary? :)
(Or were you talking about something completely different?)

Maybe those who enjoy a good "know what grinds my gears" ranting. = )
*puts on the loud music*

Yes, that's what I was referring to. Don't have any other anniversaries of importance to keep track of, fortunately.
