Yeah, they generally don't give a crap about anything. Probably due to the reality that stepping one foot outside their home could end with being shot to death, beaten to death, run over, blown up. Now it's just blase, fatalistic acceptance of whatever comes.

What game has your attention at the moment?

Just finished off Words For Evil a bit ago. Think I'll head into Stasis or Amnesia next. Could really go for a game with good atmosphere and story.

If you're looking for that type of game, you could give Master Reboot a try too (it's somewhat common bundle fodder over at Bundlestars). It's a first person horror puzzle/platformer (not a puzzle platformer, it just has both elements) and occasional walking simulator. I thought it was great outside of a few annoying sections.

They also looked more like thick crepes than pancakes. How do they get that uniform brown coloring? Maybe I flipped it too soon. But having been brought up by someone who considers slightly warm bread to be toast, I'm aprehensive of overcooking. Burning other stuff is okay.

I should have tried to do it with my head then.
