Stilton: On a brighter note, I've just eaten heartily and watched some pleasantly vacuous Saturday night TV with my better half, so I can't complain overall. And I also finished off the sale with Breach and Clear, which I'm enjoying. Are you attacking any of your purchases?
avatar
EndreWhiteMane: Raise that blood sugar and get some laughs in, not a bad idea at all. ;)
By 'attack' do you mean play? That's funny, I was just going to ask the thread if we can actually do that! :-)
Shit, that's what I've been doing.... (I hope I haven't done anything wrong!).

Stilton: DD, good evening and hugs. You have to take care of yourself. Are you sure screen-staring won't make the eye/migraine problem worse?
Good evening, Mr Viking!

Don't worry, I am taking care of myself, and I have a lovely nurse here to make sure I behave. :-)
The bleeding was just a short thing, I should not really have mentioned it, I only did as it was something strange to me. It stopped quite soon and seems to be okay now, as for my migraines, I have had them for months, so I am used to them, although sometimes they do get worse with certain things, but so far I am doing okay. I can't sleep at the moment due to a few things, not just my health but some more crap I am having to deal with at the moment, and so I figured I would chat on here for a while.

johnnygoging: real quick could somebody let me know if their back buttons on their browsers are disabled by gog's games and movies page? (or just doing one is fine)
Yeah. Weird. I have to hold the back button and select the last page I was on manually. (Using Firefox.)

ddickinson: You can admit you saw that bloody spoon earlier! :-)

Thank you. I am actually a little happy about it. As I said earlier, the last two times this happened I nearly died, this time I was okay after a few hours and some tests and medication, so I am hoping that is a good sign that I am getting better.

*big hug*
Fine! I saw the spoon! *singing* -and it opened up my eyes, I saw the spoon. [/Ace of Base reference] :-p

That's probably the first time someone has ever said "I'm a little happy" about bleeding from their eyes. I gotta say, I admire your attitude... And I hope it is a good sign too.

ddickinson: That is a shame.

I had another look, and there are a few that look a little interesting form the sale that are not on my wishlist, but nothing that is a must have.
Well that was to be expected...and i don't blame them - i don't have to replace the lost phone after all...

You could put them on your wishlist though ;)

You saw the spoon? What spoon, there was no spoon? :-)

Well I was referring to the whole episode, not the eyes bleeding. That was just a side effect of things. But I am keeping positive, just like I always have. I will have to be literally dead before I stop smiling and looking on the positive side. I have no intention of going anywhere. It would make my partner sad, and I would never allow that. :-)

I could, but then I don't want people gifting me them when I might not like them once I try them. :-)

Good evening. =)

Yes, I'd say that eyeball stigmata can be put under the category of pretty frigging weird.

Ah, of course.
Still, your positivity is awesome. I tend to cry and act like it's the end of the world when my toast doesn't come up as dark as I'd like :-p

Good evening!

Don't get me wrong, it was not gushing blood, it was just a bleeding a little, sorry if I game that impression.

Have you been having a nice day so far?

Good point but you have to try them first before you actually can decide if you like them ;)

*Starts to stick Agent's mind back together using peanut butter instead of glue.* :-)

Well I have not had the best of times in my life in may respects, so I am kind of used to bad stuff. But I have lots of great stuff as well, and one thing in particular that I have (my lovely wife) is more than enough to make me happy no matter what life throws at me. :-)

Look, we all know I am weird with accepting gifts. You guys seem to be picking on me a lot recently over my wishlist. Bunch of bullies. :-)

Don't worry, I didn't think you'd reached skull sprinkler levels of bleeding. If so, I'd have asked for a picture to put on end of the year cards next to "Wish you were here". =)

Things were a bit stressful earlier, but after I talked the roommates down a bit, they're coping better with crazy. They might be older, but pound for pound I have them beat in the dealing with lunatics event.

Other than that, it's food prep and wiping out the one set of items (the Tropico pack) that would have bugged me to leave on the table. Fortunately, a relative showed up ready to pay me back for some work I did.

Now I can say that the sale's over. All that's left is chewing through about 8 gigs of stuff.

Also, now that it's all done, anyone in the thread who doesn't have the freebie games but wants them can grab them from me.

Is there a loyalty program for the ARK? Like... some sort of prize after every 10th revival? n__o

Sorry to hear you have had a stressful day, but I am glad to hear it seems to be getting a little better.

And just think, a few more weeks and you get this same sale all over again. :-)

I am not picking on you - i was only using logic to support my point [/splitting the hair] ;)

It's okay. My ability (talent?) of not giving a shit and making fun of pretty much everything has proven useful. Harder to stay stressed when you're laughing.

Works for me. Still have 56 list items left, and I'm planning on breaking the insane amount of GOG buying I've been doing the last 25 months. It can get here, I can wipe it out, then take a break for about 6 months.
