Be careful of any indigenous fauna and flora located within it. They don't take lightly to having their habitat disturbed.

I booted the PC using a pendrive with Linux to take a safe first look on the overall situation.

In my experience, other people's computers have whole ecosystems inside them. I advise you to be wary of this fact.
