Hey Crow, have you played super puzzle platformer?

tinyE: Anyone else getting snow right now? Those of you living in Antarctica don't count.
Well it is getting scolder here but no snow in sight.

CarrionCrow: -laughs- I like the artwork they did with this sale. Probably won't see the carnage scenario I mentioned earlier, but it still looks good.

Think I have maybe 10 high priority items, and almost all of them are either too new for a discount, can't be run on my computer, or just haven't come out yet.
Yes the artwork is really great. Carnage scenario?

I see. Well my high priority items are similar :)

hummer010: I'm pretty much in the same boat - there was very little on my wishlist that was on sale, and for the most part, those that were, I picked up.

[EDIT]Oooh, I somehow missed the release of the Invisible Inc. DLC and the 50% off Invisible Inc. That's another $15 for both though. Decisions, decisions...
It's the split sale thing. Less now, more later presumably. If this sale chews through a few hundred items, the probability of list items goes up for the next round.

That would be really awesome :)
Everyone alright?
I'm here watching some streams and waiting for some games on Steam to download. BTW,hope both sales here and there will be great.
And I watched the new Nintendo Direct. My reaction to it was pretty much this.

CarrionCrow: No, I haven't.
Ah, well... I enjoyed it... until the frustration got to be too much. It's a nice action lite-puzzler, with a nice blip-bloppy soundtrack. You might like it, based on what I can remember you liking challenging games ;)

When there was talk about Bill Murray some time ago you mentioned Broken Flowers from Jim Jarmusch. Out of curiosity. Have any other JIm Jarmusch movie, you'd recommend because i also know Dead Man which was good but i'd like to some other as well.

hell yeah! :) Stranger than Paradise ... if you don't mind a black'n'white indie ... in my opinion one of the best movies of all time :)
Also Night on Earth - a film that has five stories; I can recommend it for Roberto Benigni's part alone.
I tried watching Limits of Control once but that one really seemed crap ;)

Not at all - i mean Dead Man was also B&W. Cool thanks :)
Oh that's funny because i saw Limits of Control in a local library (yes they also have movies there) and that reminded me to ask you about the Jarmusch movies ;).

Edit: I just saw that the Night on Earth soundtrack is from Tom Waits...even better :D

Watching a small Let's Play of Doom 3, and it's reminding me that I'd really like to see that show up here.

I guess that movie was good for something :P
Ah yeah, Tom Waits... awesome voice :)
So we reach the final hours of this odd week and now I sit here wondering what to do... I have nearly 40 hours to decide if a buy anything more or call it an end.

During this week I gave some gifts and I received some gifts. All I can say is that I'm eternally grateful for meeting so many fine people here on GOG particularly here in this thread.

And I shall hug you.
*grabs Gumball and hugs him*
Looking at the rental entry for a game I've been playing called Ironcast.

Fun game, with a good mashup of match-3 type mechanics, RPG-style customization and even some rogue-like elements given that you're slowly building up strength over campaigns, dying repeatedly and gradually building up until you're finally able to kill the final boss.

But they just released some DLC, and that's where things start to go sideways.
The retail price is 15. For that, you get 4 commanders and 4 different units to pilot.
The new DLC is 4 dollars apiece, and what do you get for that? A new commander and a new unit. Feels overpriced to pay almost a third of retail value for something that could have just been part of the base game.

Glad to meet you too Leo! :)
