So I managed to install MiKTeX and get it working. I think the first time I managed to botch it through sheer stupidity.

TeX is both powerful and DAUNTING! Right now I feel like a pawn at his starting point, pretty sure I won't be able to reach the end of the board. But having to try nevertheless.

I think I'll get the X Universe games during the encore. Although I have no idea if I'll ever play them though. At this point I have that in common with Jon Snow. That aside, the sale moved along like a glacier and with about the same excietement. I was expecting more of the make your own bundle offers like Humble's and Daedalic's on the first day, but no such thing.

Nope, that didn't happen at all. Everything's been slow. Very, very slow.

Those are supposed to be gone in about 12 hours, 35 minutes on the standard schedule. But like you said, their timers are different now.

An extremely powerful text editor that allows for all kind of fancy formatting, like math formulae and graphs and stuff. It's what most textbooks are made with. Think of it as html for books. The damn thing is extensible too, so it pretty much goes on forever. Gives you beautiful output... while being harder to control than Vlad Tepes on a meth bender at a hardware store.

Don't worry about it. The point remains, that stuff going away tomorrow isn't actually going away if the timer's accurate.

Spent 6 hours to download install and finally learn how to typeset a chemical formula in LaTeX. When I could just as easily have used subindexes in LibreOffice.
