EndreWhiteMane: Looks like the perfect time to scrape all this peanut butter off the floor.
Oh yuck, it has feathers and fur stuck in it! And there's coffee and hot chocolate everywhere.
Gamer slobs, that's what we are.

How's that fever of yours? Its sounds like its backed off a bit.
Oddly I haven't had a fever, I seldom do no matter how sick I am.
Feel a tad better, still reaching for a 5 out of 10 though.
How's your day been?

A bit slow. I woke up feeling like everything was happening at half speed and it stuck with me all day. Didn't feel like I was connecting with anything, so I did some gaming and some chores and sort of went with the flow.

Hey, I didn't leave peanut butter on the floor. Just some cigarette filters...and some soda bottles...and pizza boxes...and little gristly leftover bits from meat chunks...

Dear gods, tell me you're wearing gloves while cleaning.

You kidding? I still have the hazmat suit from this morning on.

Very good call. That suit will be worth its weight in gold by the time it's all said and done.
I'm starting to get SICK of Shadowrun: Dragonfall and am remembering why I put it down in the first place. Love the writing, atmosphere, etc, HATE THAT ENEMIES NEVER FREAKING MISS AND GET AT LEAST ONE CRITICAL EVERY SINGLE TURN WHILE YOUR TEAM MISSES MORE OFTEN THAN NOT!!!!!

Seriously, the enemies I'm facing now have hit 100% (!!!!!) of their shots for the past FIVE ROUNDS! Plus they've gotten AT LEAST one critical every single round in this encounter! Not only that, but they've scored two attacks that have reduced my party member's Action Points Pool to one a piece! My team? They've got a less than 35% hit rate, have scored one single critical and have had two group members "one shot" twice.

What is up with this difficulty?! I'm using cover, keeping my party members distanced so they can't be hit by an Area of Attack attack, etc etc. My parties are leveled up well and have good equipment too. Basically I'm doing everything I'm SUPPOSED to be doing, I NEVER had these issues in Shadowrun Returns but it's happening constantly in Dragonfall.

At this point I'm about ready to either look up a Godmod cheat or just junk the game and watch the rest on Youtube.

Aaand that is my rant of the night, how are you folks doing?

I think the hit rolls for your encounters got replaced with "let's fuck the player over til they scream".

There is something way, way, way off about your game. I had bad stretches where it felt like my team couldn't hit anything, but I didn't get the enemies with superhuman accuracy part.
It seems Assassin's Creed is leaving GOG...

Edit: I'm probably jumping to conclusions. :-)

I think it means it's the last time it will be in this sale

Sounds like a game to play in short bursts. I get annoyed when the balance in something is skewed and I wonder why the hell it feels like I'm playing like a toddler. Especially when its a game I've been looking forward to.

I've hit that cotton wool-headed time of the early morning when I know I'm fighting a losing battle with sleep. But I'm not ready to fall over yet, so I'll hang on for a while longer.

I'm getting that feeling. Just for one example, my main character is always the first character attacked even when there are "easier" targets, and that attack often (I would say over 50%) is a critical, even when she's on the other side of the room behind cover.

For a recent example (maybe ten minutes old), she got "one shot" by a boss who scored a 50 point critical. I use a trauma kit and then heal her back up to full health (I got the enemy to avoid her for a round by literally running all my other characters closer to an enemy) the next round. The very next round the boss hits her with a critical which knocks most of her health down, another enemy with a shotgun attacks her from across the room, it hits her and puts her out of action again, a third goon attacks Blitz (using a rifle), every bullet hits and the last one is a critical that puts him out of action.

That kind of stuff has been happening constantly on this playthrough and it's honestly making me start to hate the game, or at least the gameplay itself.

Edit: They did end up finally missing a shot...on one of their summons that they lost control of. Good for me, right? Nope! Their next attack drained its action points and put it to sleep.

More like "one chance only" because I don't remember it being offered on this sale up until now.

Something is glitching out in your game. All I have to back that statement up are my own playthroughs, but I'd still say that some component of your game has broken, leading to all the enemies being near superpowered.

XxXSprayvWarXxX: World in Conflinct is the most epic strategy game out there! Buy it mate! I have it on disc.
ah, alright. I'll think about it ;)

Maybe try loading a save a bit further back? that's all I can think of...
Too bad that's happening....

Also Mornings from here!
Had the most draining work day. Then there wasn't even lights out in the parking lot at the last place. When heading to my moped, I stepped in to a pool of water. Twice. So my socks and shoes were drained wet. And it was about +3 C. So the way home was like, "Get the **** out of my way, I need to go home and take a shower and change!" But luckily I drove slow enough not to cause any problems ;)
