ddickinson: Is this the first promo where we get a nice mix of new releases as well as the sale? I seem to recall most promos not having any/many new games launched during the sale, but I could be wrong.
I think so, and some nice deals on the new releases too! They missed an opportunity do a Braveland bundle to coincide with the release of Braveland Pirates today.

AgentBirdnest: I think it is supposed to be the goddess of Liberty (in either Roman or Greek mythology... I always get those mixed up.)
Ah, that makes sense. But I still think my theory of the French just wanting rid of it could be true as well. :-)

True, but maybe they have that line up for another day, or maybe the developers did not want that?

And hello! How are you, it has been a while since we (or at least I) have seen you in here?

Braveland and Braveland Wizard have already shown up this sale at 74% off. If they tried to split the difference, maybe 50 percent off across the board, the new would be too cheap, the old too expensive.
Good afternoon, everyone!

Hmm... Interesting bundles.
But these are not the bundles I'm looking for. :-)

Well enough. I don't often get into this thread anymore - you all are too chatty - it's hard to keep up. I generally only manage to get on GOG a few times a day, in eight hours this thread can grow immensely!

That's probably it - a $4 bundle doesn't really work, does it?

ddickinson: Hello there, long time no see.

How are you?

I found a nice victim for my spare code, and I think there is a thread for any spare codes, but I am not too sure.
It’s good to see you all here, I am well, happy, and keeping on my quest to play through games I already own, without buying any more new ones until I catch up a bit more.

As for the writing, it’s coming along slow, lots of interruptions and distractions from the unforeseen have put me behind schedule, plus some unexpected work needed to be done earlier than I thought I need to do it (for book 3) but I’m not too concerned at this point and there is nothing new to report. heh!

How have you been? Taking good care of yourself?

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

Sounds familiar. It's snowing here. Got to tromp outside in my sandals and scrape snow off the satellite dish.

Well, I figure that once I check everyone who comes here, I'll probably drop codes off here.
Howdy Crow! A couple weeks ago it was almost 100 F degrees, last week we had a 90 F degree day too... heh. It won't get much lower than 40 F degrees here, and we won't be seeing any snow, except maybe in the desert. :)

Well, the Riddick game is one that everyone should have a chance to play so I’ll make sure not to let the code expire. I redeemed System Shock 2 and have been doing a little test play of it, and it has higher resolutions and 16:9 support without mods.

That is good to hear. I can understand that, sometimes it can be hard to follow when you are already chatting in here. :-)

It is still nice to see you, and to hear things are going well.

It is nice to see you are doing well and happy. Sorry to hear your writing is a little behind, life sure does like throwing obstacles in our way, but I am sure you will be back on track in no time.

I am good, thank you. Still the usual bad health stuff, but at least it is not getting worse at the moment.

Good after and before noon! :)

The one bundle I was waiting for showed up on the first day (Elder Scrolls bundle). So I've just been watching for new releases of specific games popping up (for the right price)... 2.88 $ and I'll be at 30 to unlock Banished. heh... not sure if I'll want to get the game for myself or not though.

I'm well. I can endure the rest of the day. :-)
I had to deal with some small annoyances that troubled me but everything seems to be back on track.
I will be saying goodbye for the week. I will most likely not be online much for the rest of the week as I plan to spend it with my partner and enjoy the rest of her vacation time off work. But I will still be checking the sales now and then, as there is a certain lovely Valkyrie who has a few games on her wishlist that have yet to go on sale. Hopefully at least one will appear for me to get for her. :-(

Take care of yourselves and try to behave. Oh, and Endre, if you are not better when I get back I will make sure Nurse Crow comes to visit, even if I have to drag him to your place kicking and screaming. :-)

*big silly hugs*

That is good to hear (that things are back on track, no the small annoyances), hopefully your day will get much better as time goes on.

Hello, Ghost.
There is a good chance we'll have a repeat day for the bundles offered. It's a feature on this sale model.
Maybe then you can get what you want.

Ah, well, it is good that you're health issues aren't getting worse, but I'm sure you are keeping your Power Armor in prime condition, just in case you're needed to save the day, or something... heh.

I'm used to managing to get through the unforeseen things, lots of practice falling down and getting up, getting run over too! Though you know your way around the dramas and adversity as well... some of us bounce better than others it seems. ;)

<big squishy, yet gentle comfort hug!>

Well, I did get the one bundle I wanted, nabbed it the first day. I've been waiting to play Morrowind since the day it was released here, now I've got the whole series. Had to hear that Theme music whilst ingame, plus all the music files are .mp3 so I can just click on them and listen when I have to hear the music.

The X series was a surprise, had to get that too, though I had X2 from elsewhere. If Pillars of Eternity pops up again, I might get it, and the expansion, or Divinity Original Sin...

Nocturnal Tidings!
(it's dark lot of the time in this area of the planet these days)
Not having much strength to follow the thread these days... I pop by to say something silly occasionally.
Bought 4 games so far; X gold, Never Alone, Chroma Squad and Death to Spies. Only tried Chroma Squad of those. Meanwhile I also bought Costume Quest from Humble sale which is awesome. Of course the epic Wasteland 2 director's cut continues until the Rangers triumph over Evil.

Anybody having good time with games?

It was doing that here for a while. Weeks of 100+ degree weather. Just when I started to think that maybe winter would be delayed, everything dropped and rain/snow kicked in.
