Tallima: I'm tired and brain-filled. Given that, I did abysmally. Just under 10%. But I saved my list and will give it a go in a bit after some rest.

DampSquib: So i'm guessing you have tonnes of games, i only buy here and the odd grog game.
Makes it easy to remember what i own, maybe it's more difficult with so many services involved.
That or your really, really OLD :P
Combo platter.:) Mostly,it's been a rough week.

That said,I have tons of games from bundles that I have never or have barely played. For instance, I like to try out RPG Maker games just to see what some small indie RPG devs have in mind. But I rarely finish one (in recent times, only To the Moon). But I have games that I can't remember b/c I just can't name them. For instance, there's a TBS RPG game. It came out a .... Banner Saga. Just got it. :)

Anyway, it was a fun exercise that I thought would teach me how well I internally value the games. I doubt on my deathbed I'll be wishing for more game time. They are a fun hobby, don't get me wrong. But I someitmes need reminders that times with the kids and wife are radically more important, beneficial and fulfilling.

That said, I'm only here to look at the manual for IWD. So back to gaming! :)

DampSquib: b]Something satisfying about the sound of the page turning or the smell of a new book, not that i sniff them...much.
avatar
Ixamyakxim: I am totally guilty of this. I frequently bury the ol' schnozz into a book, most often when I first begin reading. LOVE library books as well - even more so I think. Yes, I realize I might be an oddball for having an opinion on the proper age of a book based on its smell.
Never considered it odd, that lovely smell of fresh ink, old books smell wonderful.
Like almonds or aniseed, not that i've given it much thought...ho hum.
Until kindle does a scratch and sniff version think i will give it a miss.
Nice to have another book sniffer around :D

Between Moonshine singing the praises of the first two, and your commentary on the third, that's really looking like a series to look forward to. =)

Just stay away from Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods and Gothic 4/Arcania. Both were made by different devs who didn't seem to "get" what the Gothic series was. If you're interested in the Gothic series but find them too dated (or if you like them and want more), jump ahead to the first Risen as it's basically the good points of the first three in a small focused world.

Good to know. (Pity I won't end up taking that advice, but it is appreciated.)

That's cool. Already have Risen 1 and 2, so I'm geared up for a five-parter when the time comes.

You have good taste, IWD, Banner Saga, that and your priorities are sound.
The amount of games i own here is healthy, i would probably own more if i did the whole bundle thing too.
On other stores that is, but i do not for now, i always re-evaluate my stance periodically.
To put it short, games be it board or video, give me a sense of freedom that my disability takes away.
Fun question, crappy i don't remember more, getting old too, you're not alone in that old fart :P

with that said i bid you goodnight as i'm struggling to type, night and bless :)

This game is starting to drive me a little nuts...
But I only have 18 more stars to go, and it's dead.

Thank you for the heads-up. Posted my parting response (with what feels like a dozen edits, since I can't exactly get modkilled at this point.) a minute ago.

If I could, I'd happily share what I have. But, I think the stores will be open before an overnight package hits your location.

It'd certainly be nice. Course, I shudder to think how expensive that cup of coffee would be by that point. -laughs-
I just played around with the First Person Mods for both Saints Row: The Third and Saints Row: IV and am glad to say that both are pretty functional, considering what they're trying to do.

If you're interested, here's the links

Hmm. Hadn't considered playing that series in first-person. Will have to check those out sometime, thank you. =)
