CarrionCrow: Age of Wonders 2. The series goes AOW 1, AOW 2, AOW Shadow Magic, AOW 3.
Yes, but you have third degree completionitis, while I'm only first degree.
Which one is the more "It's 4am; just one more turn I swear" of the two?

Not sure on that one. It's a series I haven't gotten into yet.
DOes anyone know some fixes for the DOS version of Earth 2140? The sound is glitching and there's a lot of stuttering on gameplay.

ElTerprise: Uh that sucks...i love such technical issues....hopefully they won't show up again...
Likewise, thank you. I think my old connection and my new connection settings were wrestling to be the default. As soon as I told them there was no default, my net came back.

j0ekerr: Ooooh that's why.

Excuse me while I go get myself a seeing eye dog.
-laughs- There's a lot of stuff in that bundle. Items are easy to miss.

Can't really help you with it - but apparently the TB has it on his GOGmix - in case you care about his opinion.

That's just great...reminds me a bit of my ethernet issues i had with Linux because apparently my router is not able to recognize my lInux system on a dual boot as a seperate connection setting....which resulted in constantly losing my Ethernet connection when i tried to install Arch Linux...

*after successfully stealing Owl's coffee,I drank it up*
Really nice coffee you have there,Owl. I recommend using cinnamon and a little bit of powder milk.
Imma thinking trying Port Royale again. I played it once before and didn't like it too much, felt like a trading sim. Then I read that you can engage in piracy. I have the physical copy in front of me actually.

Or I could spend a buck and avoid the huge monumental hussle that is.. Opening the box, taking out the disc, putting it in the drive, installing, removing the disc from the drive, putting it in the box again. The horror! God will the pain ever stop?

(Actually it's more of a hussle than that. My current rig doesn't have a disc drive. I have to load it in the laptop, make an iso image or copy all the files, then transfer them back to the desktop, and it's got a physical anti-copy (a noticeable groove in the middle of the disc) that impedes making iso images and maybe simple sequential copying of the whole disc as well)

Oh who am I kidding I don't have the bloody time.

Sounds like you know quite well how much fun it is to have your connection drop for no frigging reason. Will definitely be calling the tech person. I pay too much for this as it is, the least they can do is make sure it works properly.

You're welcome. As a bonus, it tastes quite good as well.

Speaking of, I think I need to grab some more.
