In the set of all games I've played that I also own on GOG, I'd say GOMO was my least favorite (so far). I feel a little bad picking on it, but the controls were wonky, the world/puzzles made very little sense, and I didn't really feel any link with the character. I like adventure games, but somehow I found that one disappointing. Certainly not the worst game I've ever played, but definitely subpar, in my view.
The protocol is: come on in anytime, chat whenever and wherever you'd like, and have fun. It's a free-for-all :-)

I haven't tried GOMO yet. But not feeling a link with the character, especially in an adventure game, can really suck. I had that problem with "A Golden Wake". I didn't think it was a bad game at all, but the main character made me snore :-p

This! I totally agree. Bought it, played it for thirty minutes, quit, haven't returned yet. I normally love Wadjet Eye games but this one just didn't click with me.

Yeah, if I recall correctly, you thought the setting was really boring, and I thought the setting was the best thing about the game :-p
It didn't really "click" with me either, but it clicked a little better than Gemini Rue did, at least...

I think I'll go to bed too. I could stay up longer, but then I wouldn't be allowed to complain that I didn't sleep enough ;-)
