Yeah, my day wasn't so bad ! .... the people were nice and interested, but a bit too many (10, instead of 5-6 usually)... and I struggled a bit to prevent them from chatting all the time... apart from that, and a big headache because I'm tired as pluck, I'm fine, happy to be back home, happy to be done... happy about the sale ! ... HAPPY. :-)

Smannesman: I've got a bit of a weird question, but do some (computer) mice have like special firmware for when they're connected to a compatible OS such as Windows?
I'm asking because I've got a mouse that is occasionally freaking out under Windows and although I've only tried it for a short while it doesn't seem to have the same issues under Linux.

EndreWhiteMane: Mice have drivers, just like any other hardware device. In Windows Device Manager it is listed under "Mice and other pointing devices".
Sometimes just uninstalling the driver and letting Windows reinstall it will help.
Chances are though that you just have a flaky mouse that Windows doesn't like and Linux does.
