Ixamyakxim: Oh sure, less than a week after being killed off in the Mafia Game, I have ANOTHER excuse to log into GoG constantly (often on the sly? ;) ).

Anyone know how to tell what the 24 hour / daily deals are? (I get that the bundles are - but any way to tell which of the list of games are only for a day?)
It's looking like the bundles are 24 hours, while everything else is 12 hours.

I think it helps - don't ask my why - if you make your wishlist public... :P

Yep, that's how I understood it as well. GOG's incentive to get us to keep coming back. :P

Looks like the first day is pretty much everything at once for 24 hours then the 12 hour thing starts.
At the moment there are about 450 items on sale.
oh shit

EndreWhiteMane: Now you can relax. And shoot for 1500. :-)
avatar
CarrionCrow: That won't happen. I grabbed a bunch of tag-alongs because they were super cheap, but even so, there are so many more misses than hits looking at things.
Yeah, I'm still trying for 600, even with all of these listed few are of real interest.
I was thinking that we will get a new group of discounted games every 12 hours, with each group lasting for 24 hours. Isn't that how it worked last time?

Ah you know I actually misread the sale - I was thinking the vast majority of the single games would persist for the full ten days with only a few going away every day. For some reason, I didn't read it was like in previous sales where they would all shuffle en masse.

I have a few games on my wishlist but most are expensive - except one which I'll be picking up! It was why I asked about the "deal cycling" - "just in case" I like to lump purchases together whenever possible (rather than one at a time) so before I grabbed the game, I wanted to make sure it might not be possible to wait until tomorrow and "add in" something should one of my big wants come up.

But it sounds like if interested, I'd better grab it before it's gone tomorrow! Fun fact: I actually do have two games on my wishlist that I no longer want. They were some of the first games I added when I joined GoG - I've since decided I wouldn't play them, but I haven't wanted to remove them due to "sentimental reasons" ;) Yes, I'm sick ;)

The front page says 21 hours 53 minutes for all the games listed there, I think tomorrow will start the 12 hour rotation.

no worries. what ever works for you :)
GOG keeps giving me a notification for an updated game in my library, but when I go to check it out there's nothing. Ugh. :P

Well the discounts will be for 24 hours - but we'll get new discounted games every 12 hours - at least that's the way i understand it

Likewise. High priority items aren't many, and most of them are recent enough that they won't be a part of this sale.

Additional - Think I'm going to get some sleep while GOG support fixes my card issue.
Have fun, everyone. =)
