I ended up running into a real-life friend on the record-of-the-month forums, which was really unexpected and a nice surprise.

Viking chef...sounds like a fun spinoff to Iron Chef. If the contestant doesn't get their food done in an hour, a large man beats them in the head with a hammer. (That might seem fatal, but a real Viking would have the protective helmet on to soften the blows.)

I'm keeping fingers crossed on one hand that we get it today... but fingers crossed on the other hand that it will wait one more day for Owl. She'll be pissed as pluck if it starts on the only day all month that she can't login.

CarrionCrow: If it's Insomnia, she'd end up missing stuff due to work. If it's standard, there's always midpoint recap and final recap.

Cooking and head clubbing are ancient Viking traditions, both usually perpetrated by the female of the species. Which is the probable reason why we male Vikings yell so much...

Stilton: That's one of the good things about GOG sales - at least you get a second and third chance to buy stuff you don't need.
