ElTerprise: Have you heard? Battletech got all stretchgoals, even the multiplayer....
That is excellent news. It looks like they're going to take any extra to push co-op multiplayer forward faster.

Can't think of a game I'd want to have completely done and in my hands right now more than that one.

In other news, who here likes 16bit era JRPG style with a touch of irony and tentacles?
No staff picks, because the sale will start before Friday I'm guessing? Would be pretty silly to have staff picks overlapping a big sale (then again, when has GOG made much sense?)

For the statistics nerds like myself, last years sale dates were...
Fall = 12 November (Wednesday) - 23 November (Sunday)
Winter = 4 December (Thursday) - 15 December (Monday)
Make what you will of that :-p

Oh, and good evenoon everyone :-)

And now they reached 2.5 Mio. $ on Kickstarter alone (without the additional Paypal pledges). It's definitely good for polish and whatnot.

Yes i'm also pretty excited about it...

Did you added some of the digital add-ons stuff to your pledge?

No, waiting to buy it retail. I don't mind spending 40 on it (which I think I saw them say would be retail price at launch) for just the game.

Already have the game I think you're referring to. Haven't played it yet, though.

I see. Sounds like a good price for it.

Hello Agent *big hug*
Well that means either this or next wednesday :)

Figuring I'd drop 50 on it during the Kickstarter. At least, that was the plan. But, extra money got chewed up by other things. (And still waiting to get paid for a couple jobs.)

That's what I'm betting on. Or it could be tomorrow. Who knows :-p

Well that's why i actually did. But i don't i will add something to it - neither the 85$ level some exclusive Initiate of the Order / Valhalla stuff nor the digital addons (Field manuals / rule books)...

Well you still have 24 hours :)

That's what I'm betting on. But I split my bet between this Wednesday, because of the missing staff picks, and next Wednesday, because that is closer to last year's fall sale.
Or it could be tomorrow. Who knows :-p
Well wednesday sounds better for me :P
But who knows indeed :)

But last year the two sales were extremely close together and people didn't really like that. I think they'd do better to start the sale this week.
Have been playing Colonization for quite some time now.
7 hours in one sitting now,I can't stop. Help!

I wouldn't mind the game book add-ons if they were in a more coherent mass, if that makes sense. They're very scattershot, content-wise. If it was something like core rulebooks plus technical readouts (the books that contain all the different mech designs), then I'd be sorely tempted.

Yes. I know what you mean. That would be better indeed. Nonetheless it's okay that they offer them - there are sure people who like to get them regardless (although i find them quite pricey)....

They're useful, but it's very scattered. What you need to start are the two main rulebooks (which used to be one rulebook, but anyway), the readouts to check out and pick designs from, and the miniatures and maps to actually play the game.
Everything after that is an add-on. Nice, but very optional.

Also, said screw it. I'm now a backer on the same level as you. =)
(I sincerely hope you're in the mood for PVP Battletech when the beta starts. You'll be the first person I bug to fight against. >=) )
