Agh, sorry no response to messages - errand time! Back in a while :-)

Stilton: Hey, whazzup, Soccorro dude?
Not much, bruh! I'm good. How are you?
Crow, the chili stuff, from what I've heard, is supposed to be good for the body... But too much is too much I guess :)

Uh, gonna call it a night... 3 episodes of SNL season 1 and quite an adventure in the wasteland... lots of dark coffee... have a tiny headache but getting tired I'm probably gonna sleep it off :)
Good Night and have a nice Sunday!

AgentBirdnest: *Big congratulations hug*, plus a *bigger but gentle comforting and healing hug*
(Trying to figure out how to make a smiley face and sad face at the same time) ..... :'-7 ..... (close enough?)
*huge thank you hug*

Nice smiley, very creative. I approve. ;)

Stilton: Fantastic!

5000 words with a body that's complaining is amazing :-)

The Nano endeavour is a case of ticking away at a list of landmarks, and you've killed off four of them already (three daily totals and the 5000 word barrier)!

You're allowed to take a breather if you want to, or keep going if it distracts you from your aches :-)

Whichever, I hope you feel better soon :-)
Well, I was hosting a write-in today so I just tried to force myself through it. Despite the discomfort the afternoon was very nice and I managed to write a lot. Am currently at 6000 words. :) I want to keep going until at least 7000 today. I will hardly have time to write after this week so I'm trying to get as much of it out of the way as I can. How are you doing?

j0ekerr: What he said. It's kinda amazing. You've even earned a rest.

I need to move away from the pc now. I must now delve into the amazingly exciting world of administrative law.

It's a good thing I don't have any power tools in the house or I'd be tempted to perform a self-trepanation.
Haha, thanks. :P The first few days are usually the most productive for me. :)

Think I'll just stick with jars of peppers next time. Those don't do damage.

Have a good night, sleep well. =)

CarrionCrow: It's a fun morning. I think I halfway poisoned myself with habanero relish. Add to that the fun of "Is it a cold, is it allergies, or am I just messed up from smoking too much", mixed with irrational impatience regarding a sale that I don't even know is coming this month, and things are looking good overall. -laughs-
If it burns on its way out, it most certainly is the habanero candy from last night.

Sale?! What sale can you be talking about, there is no such thing, no sales here to be found, nor there will ever be, no sireee... That thing called Black Friday, is an illusion created by your deranged mind. Also this is not a shotgun and it most definitely isn't loaded.
----
Anyways enough resting, need to hit the books again...
If I bring down the government V for Vendetta style I won't have to learn about all these laws.

Figuring the sale will come soon. Possibly sooner than last year, considering that the competition's Halloween sale is a smaller-scale end of the year sale all by itself.
All right, 10000 words. I'm calling it a day on the writing front, as my shoulder is starting to hurt.

That's a lot of words to have down already. You're doing very well.

Amazing effort, Fearful. You'll have the novel written in a week at this rate :-)

I feel a sale has to come along pretty soon. There hasn't been a GOG extravaganza for quite a while, and there must be a load of people gagging to spend some money on a heap of bargains.

I kind of have to, after this week my writing time is going to plummet considerably. ;)

Well, that would very nice, although I doubt it. Usually the first two or so days are the best for me. But I'm trying to get at least 30k out of the way this week as I won't have a lot of time to write starting next week. If I don't get most of it done now it's not going to happen this month. ;)

I hope there will be a sale soon as well. Even if I don't buy much I like the general atmosphere that accompanies those big sales.

I'm content to chug along at 2,000 words a day and aim for a 60,000 total, hopefully more. it would be nice to get to around 80,000, but I'll have to wait and see how things develop and if the idea has the legs to get that far. I'm enjoying myself so far, though, and there's that pleasant nervous energy of not knowing anything about my story until I write it. Its very much the hit and hope approach, but it seems to suit me well because of its open-ended nature.

I like the social side of sales, too. Its nice to get some games, but the excitement and fun along the way is better.

Sounds like a good plan. :) My stories are usually about done at 50k, and so I never really feel motivated to write more. :P At any rate, given that I need to do most of the writing in week 1, I won't really have time for more this year anyway. And yep, the most important thing is that you're having fun! :) Good to hear things are going well for you.

Exactly! Love that excitement. ;)

I bet there will be a big sale starting next Friday. Why? Because this year gog almost always managed to start their big sales when I was not here for some time ;-)

Seeing your current output, I'm tempted to go at it tomorrow and see if I can get into five figures. Doing great big chunks is draining, but so good for the morale. It would also be nice to see if I can finish it in maybe three weeks as my attention tends to fade a bit in week four.

Well, I hope this time the sale happens while you're at home. Are you going anywhere nice?
