Launched "Blood" for some Halloween fun. Interesting that for some of these old shooters, you have to check "invert mouse" to un-invert it :-p
Well ,if there is anything we can do to cheer you up, you know where we live - right here ;-)

Haha, that's quite confusing. :P I don't play a lot of shooters, although I make the occasional exception. I can't really deal with the FPS games anyhow as they tend to make me nauseous. :P Well ,if there is anything we can do to cheer you up, you know where we live - right here ;-)
Thanks, that's very nice of you to say. :) *hugs*

I have a friend that gets nauseous from FPS games too, and another that gets headaches. Normally I do alright with them, but sometimes the movement or field of view is a bit too weird and I'll get a headache from it (STALKER. Yuck. Luckily there was a mod to fix the head bobbing!) Thanks, that's very nice of you to say. :) *hugs*
:-o I haven't hugged you yet? Shame on me... *extra huge happy and comforting hug*

Thanks :-)
I played it a few years ago. It was one of the first games I bought here. I don't remember everything too well, but I remember the difficulty was quite... difficult ;-)
I really enjoy it though. Might be my favourite pre-Half-Life shooter.

The only one I remember playing through recently is System Shock 2, which was doable. :) Yeah, the movements confuse me somehow. There's one section in Skyrim where you're forced into first person mode for half a quest and it's always absolute torture for me. :P Mods are awesome! I love to mod my games until they break and then mod them some more. :-o I haven't hugged you yet? Shame on me... *extra huge happy and comforting hug*

I usually do that too and I think it's about time I redownload them on my steam. :P

Ugh, Skyrim's first-person mode was brutal for me. The field of view was far too narrow. I spent about an hour trying to tweak it to the perfect setting for me. I love mods (not quite to the extent you do, I'm guessing :-p), but I always like to try to run through a game without them on my first try. That usually lasts about 76 minutes with Bethesda's games before I go to NexusMods :-p *super big thank you hug with some spooky halloween flavoring on top*

Wish they would give the same updates to the first one, that would kick ass.

Yep, those few times when the game forces you into first-person really annoy me. Makes everything ten times as hard. :P *Great Pumpkin-sized hug with a bag full of candy*
I try to play without mods (or only with cosmetic ones) for the first run as well, but after that everything's allowed. ;) And yep, I'm a mod addict. "Do I really need 300 different hairstyles in Skyrim? Why yes, I believe I do!" *installs mod to keep character creator from CTD'ing due to sheer overload of mods*
*starts eating candy* I did buy three fancy chocolate bars that I plan to use as reward for hitting small writing goals this month. :P
Yup, I'd love for that to happen as well, but it doesn't look like it will happen soon. Oh well, at least the updates for 2 are very nice.
