Apparently the DoS remake got delayed by a couple of hours. :/

EndreWhiteMane: I pretty much stopped because there always seems to be someone who takes issue with the simplest thing you say.
Gets old really fast.
You're telling me !!! :-|
At least this thread has been relatively safe so far... let's hope it stays that way !

Empress_Owl: So many temptations... Didn't you have Serpent in the Stagland yet ?...
Yes, I think they would rather stick to their previous kind of sale for now... :-( slow pace... endless... bah.
Yep... to be honest, I got back to a 7, due to a friend who is pissed at me (and at 88.2% of his friends), but, well. It will pass. :)
Great... you're very helpful :)
Not yet. But I'm not too worried about it. I already have so many RPG's that it's a bit insane.
I keep wondering if there will be anything I don't have whenever Insomnia does come around again. Would feel a bit silly staying up for a long time without a single purchase. Will probably start feeling that I have a problem with buying too many games if that happens.

Very true. A change every 12 hours is a good way to kill off excitement and replace it with boredom.

I'm sorry about that. People go through weird periods. Hopefully they'll calm down, then start the round of apologizing for getting angry at everyone.

l0rdtr3k: *snuggles you some more* How's the wife? Hope she's alright and wish me luck since I have a doctor later today.
She is very well, thank you. Good luck with your visit to the doctors. I hope they can give you something to make you feel better.

*big get well soon hug*

Empress_Owl: Eeeeerm... no... I don't know ?.... who knows. I never saw you, after all ... you may as well look like Godzilla... ;-p heehee
Thanks for the tip :-) ... good to know..
So now I am a big fat lizard? That is so rude. :-(

FearfulSymmetry: *huge hug* So you're going on a holiday? I hope you have lots of fun! :)
Thank you. I am glad to hear you are doing fine. *big hug*

What? They are remaking DOS? Microsoft must be getting desperate. :-)

Shall we see if GOG will let you have some of mine? You definitely deserve it. :-)
Dropping in for a quick "hello" to all you lovely thread folks. I hope you're all having a great day! The lady is out of town for business, I'm just having a play day with the pup. We just wore ourselves out playing fetch, so now we're just relaxing to some puppy tv (currently "Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2." Seriously, movies like this leave him mesmerized for some reason. Bad puppy movies and Community are all he ever wants on the tv.)

Time to make some coffee. Oh, and I found a shot a friend took that isn't all blurry from the Halloween party. Don't say I didn't warn you...

FearfulSymmetry: *waves and prepares for super awesome hug*

Mostly I've been working on essays, which was pretty boring. :P But other than that I'm fine. How are you? :)
*super epic awesome mega triple-hug*
(Dunno what a "triple-hug" is, but it sounds nice :-p)

I'm doing excellent today. Dunno why exactly, but I don't really care :-p

Yes... it will be disappointing if you buy all the games just before a big sale... ! firstly because the sale won't be very exciting if you own 98% of the games, and secondly because they will be sold much cheaper... :) [/being reasonable when it's not about my own games needs]...
Well, i think he is waiting for us all to apologize... :-| it's a bit delicate.

Then they'll be able to run Windows 3.2
avatar
ddickinson: Given my health it might not be the most interesting list of things we did. I imagine much of it will just be us enjoying some time together and going for some nice walks along the coast and things like that. There are some places we are hoping to visit that should be fun, but nothing set in stone due to my health.
As long as you have a good time with your partner, that's what really matters.

If 3.2 can't run MODE, I'm going to be pissed. Damned lack of backwards compatibility.

-waves back- Hey there. =)

Fear not, MODE is a DOS command so I think you're good. :-)

I'll only consider it if they allow me to edit my autoexec.bat and config.sys files. I need that high memory.

Maybe the puppy just keeps thinking, "They should have cast me, I'd have done a better job."

Good picture, and kudos for taking a fun idea and running with it.

-laughs- MODE is also an FMV quasi-game thing that would only run on Windows 3.1.

Good day!

I hope you have a lovely day while your fine lady is out of town. I am sure that cute little dog will keep you good company, and the fine people of this thread as well.

And if you don't mind me saying, I think that is one of the nicest Han Solos i have seen. Much better than Harrison Ford. And that has got to be one of the best Princess Leias as well. :-)

No, that was the original. This is the remake. They take out all the good features and just replace it with ads and stuff to spy on you. :-)

That is very true.
