Stilton: Bad Mojo and Dracula - The Resurrection. And some Slender - The Arrival, too, which is pretty naff but I want to finish it rather than leave it half done. (I've been hanging around Crow too much...)
I love Bad Mojo, it is such a strange yet charming game. I had lots of fun with it, and I even got the good ending. I have not played Dracula yet, and I don't own Slender as it never appealed to me, and I have heard bad things about the game.

Do you have any other scary games for Halloween? Outlast, or Amnesia perhaps?

Empress_Owl: Haha >:-D dirty English !!!
Awww :-( ... sorry about that. I'm sure you would have made a perfect nun. But we prefer you as a arse-kicking badass battle sister, anyway :) so, yes, you can keep the costume for your parties or whatever silly time with your partner, haha :D
For all I know they were French tourists. :-)

It's okay, I would not want to be a nun if I had to give up my wife. Not even for god himself. I have only worn a nun outfit once when I was a student at a fancy dress party. It was not quite accurate, as I altered it a little to make it more alluring as I was going with my partner to the party and I like to dress nice for her, and I like to dress nice as well, of course.

*big Battle Sister hug*

I couldn't stand the middle missing - like going to the cinema and having to go to the loo half way through the film :-(

Talking of films, I watched the intros, which are pretty good for something from 2006/7...

Supreme Commander

Forged Alliance
Doing pretty well today :-)

Those intros are not bad at all ô__ô Got me thinking about some of my favourites...
Another from 2007 that isn't too bad - The Witcher.

Bad Mojo's great. Really offbeat and wonderful for Halloween. Slender isn't really that bad, if you look for its good points. It has some tension, and at night in a dark room with headphones it can feel creepy at times. Its just a bit rough around the edges and feels incomplete. I've got both Outlast and the first Amnesia. They're for this week and the lead up to Halloween. They look scary enough to fit the bill.

Are you one for horror films and games? I don't know why, but I don't think of horror as being a feminine thing, aside from luscious vampires, of course. But they're usually for the male half of the audience. Aside from morbidity and the supernatural, horror's staples are violence and rape (not necessarily explicitly so in either case, but the subtext is always there), which I would think are very off putting to women. What must that say about my psyche..?

I wouldn't say that stilton. I know a lot of chicks that are hardcore into horror in general, slashers, zombies, etc.

For someone who claims to not be as dirty minded you sure know a lot about all the dirty events, and not even the ones in your own country. You must have such a dirty mind to know all those places in France and then still want more from other countries as well. I always knew the French had dirty minds, just look at those French Maid uniforms. :-)

You can really see how the developers were trying to use cinema to immerse the player more deeply in the game. In some cases it works really well, but not always. Personally I think its great. I like the 'big' games as much as I like the old stuff and a lot of indie titles. Its a pretty amazing interest we have here, and it never stands still. Someone's always trying to do something better or different.

I have not played Amnesia, but I have Outlast. It is quite fun, it does have its faults, but it is enjoyable. And the DLC has a section that I am sure will make all the guys happy (or should that be sad?). :-)

I am not really big on horror films, nor games really. I don't mind them, but I would not say they are a big thing for me. That is probably why I have not gotten around to playing most of the "horror" games I own. I prefer them with a bit more action like Outlast over the ones like Amnesia.

But as Pimp said, many women love horror. I have a few friends who love horror films and things like that.

Sadly not, but I am sure there are plenty of them in the US. Probably more so than in France. :-)

The kind of chicks that like horror are usually the more fun types with black leather, chains, etc. :)
