AgentBirdnest: It is really entertaining. I find it kinda funny how much controversy there was when it came out. I remember reading newspaper articles that described it as "the worst game of all time" and a "murder simulator". It's not too different from South Park, as far as "questionable content" goes (but then, South Park has been extremely controversial too.) But you are right - the game is not meant to be taken seriously. It is entertainment.

That happens a lot. Horror movies are much worse than any game, especially the ones that try to be realistic and psychological. They are far worse than any game I have ever played, yet people don't seem to react to them the same way. People just like to complain sometimes, or they overreact. A bit like that Hatred game, or the anime porn stuff. People overreact at first, but once things calm down they see it was nothing really. You don't even have to be that violent in Postal 2, you can pretty much play the whole game without killing the majority of people. I was not too keen on the Apocalypse weekend part of the game, that was more linear and did not make much sense at all. *rolls around on the ground with New Shelf, pummeling it mercilessly* >:-|
