I want that falcon collection, but broke as a joke now, so threw it onto the wishlist. :p
Weekend midnight postin' on the GOG forums.

Hope all you hepcats out there are stayin' real cool.
Gogdammit... something happened literally 3 minutes after I went to sleep last night that would have made my day if I had been awake to see it. Now finding out that I missed it by such a short amount of time, and I'm royally pissed.
Tant pis...

NoNewTaleToTell: Yeah, it doesn't like anything special, but a game doesn't have to be special to be fun. How open is it? I've seen a few reviews mentioning it being sorta open.
I'm failing massively at remembering. I'm trying to think, but realizing that my brain is combining Redline and Slave Zero, and I can't seem to separate them. [/sh*tty memory]

ddickinson: How long do you think the game takes to fully complete? It looks like a nice lengthy game.

That is a great name for a goat. :-)
Thank you :) And sorry for a slo-ooo-ow reply. According to gog it's been about 7 hours...
Got very tired suddenly.
Mm... It's not a super lenghty game, but long. Longer than 40 hours easily (or maybe some hardcore players can do that) ... but I'm playing with the second to most difficult setting, "Ranger," and have spent probably 25-30 hours playing. And I'm not even halfway, probably going to end up playing about 100-120 hours. But this is me being interested in "too many" extra things :)
So it's shorted than, say, Morrowind or Baldur's Gates, but longer than many new indie epic-sort of games.
Moooooorning.... *yawn*

Happy Greetings-Mornings to'ya! :)

*offers some not-too-dark but still-a-bit-dark coffee*

I have decided (for almost certain) to buy that Humble Weekly - just because of the Talisman and its addons. I understand it's total bummer but I find certain amount of urge to get it anyhow. Damn nostalgia ! It's a blind man leading me on a road to hell... :p

I remember from when I spent time in yonder lands oop north, how surprised I was at the sheer amount of fallen leaves in autumn. We don't get anywhere as much here, it's never cold enough to force the trees to hibernate. They do drop a few more leaves around now, but not that much more compared to the rest of the year, and most trees never even bother changing colour.

Then I suddenly saw the knee high amount of dead leaves and the seemingly dead trees and was amazed.

Are you shaking with the uncotrollable urge of one more hit?
Can you think of nothing but your next fix?
Are your dreams filled with nothing but adorable fuzzy white bunnies with shark-toothed smiles burning stuff and being sarcastic about it?

Then you have J0ekerr withdrawal syndrome.
There is no cure!

ddickinson: It is a Disney movie that ticks all the political correctness boxes and Hollywood movie checklist. So I would imagine it will be the same as most over Hollywood movies, just with a Star Wars skin. The fans will sing its praise and condemn anyone that says they are rubbish. Just like so many did with the last three that were made. I just don't understand fanatical fans, not just with Star Wars or Star Trek but anything. Some fans get so violent and angry and obsessed with such silly things. Like you said, some seem to devote their life to them, and they will argue with anyone with a different opinion about that they like, a bit like many AAA game fanboys.
I disagree. Lucas managed to wean me off the already exhausted Star Wars teat with his godawful new trilogy.

I have stopped being a devout follower and now view those movies not from a perspective of faith but cold rationalism, and I think many others have done the same. They're now wary of false prophets and crushed dreams and will be cautious on their assesment of these new gospels.

Of course the orthodox fundies will always sing their praises, but they're fewer now.

In fact I'm so unexcited about the damn thing that I won't even bother going to watch it unless it gets good reviews. And maybe not even then.

Wow! Pretty cool stuff :)
I actually live on a street with lotsa trees and if I wasn't such a damn lazy fool, I'd do some walking and taking-a-pictures things... maybe I should try...

Argh... that definition.... "roguelike-elements" makes me want to put my hair on fire :) how about "gauntlet-like elements" ? man, it's so far from being a nethack type of game by way of just having randomized levels and chests with random stuff in them... just my opinion, of course.. *stares at the lit match.... then puts it out finally* :p

Those were taken from my balcony where I smoke, so not much walking involved. ;-)

Although I've already been in the yard, hanging up the laundry this morning.

Ah, okay ..may be that's something I could manage... And this laziness is made worse because we are probably +1 hours into the Saturday from yours :)
