do you know where your old games are?

A few weeks ago my mom found a caterpillar amongst some vegetables she had bought. My mom put it on one of her potted plants and nurtured it. This was the end result.

We sometimes get ant nests in the garden, quite a lot of them. They're not really a problem, but some of the ants are very big. I took this picture when the other half was doing a bit of weeding.

Oh thank God I'm not the only oddball who has taken an interesting insect in and nursed it back to health. In my defense, I've also done it with less creepy species.
