Stilton: Hi folks :-)

I'm pleased to say that I survived yesterday's dark night of the soul and Crow's homemade Manchurian Candidate Via Deviant Imagery Kit.

How is everyone?
Hey there. =)

Like I said, just be glad I didn't tell you the rest of it. -laughs-

How are you doing? Manage to deal with the dishwasher on no sleep all right?

Stilton: How's Halloween going? I've started in on my Universal Monster movies and installed some suitable (as yet unplayed) games. Now its dark I feel like some frights!

Ixamyakxim: LOL sounds fun! We'll be picking up some pumpkins to carve tonight or tomorrow. I do a terrible job of it, but I've been craving pumpkin seeds for about two weeks now - not sure what took this long to be honest.

I might have waited too long to get them - no enjoying baseball like a player during the current series! I'm assuming the ALCS will be wrapped up tomorrow and I'm not sure how long before the World Series starts up.
We'll be looking for pumpkins in the next day or two. Halloween is still an 'acquired taste' here, amazingly - GET WITH IT, PEOPLE, ITS FUUUN! - so finding some good pumpkins can be a bit of a struggle, but one worth going through. There are quite a few people who embrace the season like I do, but so many more who would rather lock their doors and stay inside watching the usual dull TV. Weird!

Sport can be amazingly rewarding to watch and support, but it can get hold of your guts and churn them around as well. I'm an F1 fan (US GP this weekend!) and I used to be much more avid than I am these days. When things don't turn out the way you want them to it can be painful, so now I have a far more open view, which I find more amenable. How are your team doing? What league is it?

Antimateria: I got bored many times but it's easy game to mod.. you know, make the game better but still I am annoyed. It is not bad game but it still is the game that I used most hours and never beating the game. I would like to see if there is a decent story. Well fallout 1 was some dude taking a place in the doorway and I could not pass.. That fucker. Otherwise it seemed greatest game ever. ^^
The story's not very good, there are no consequences for anything, and it all gets repetitive. No wonder you got bored.

Empress_Owl: I Oogled it... it looks nice :)
Glad you're doing all right ! and that you did what you had to...
My day was cool ! I've just put the little one in bed, so I can enjoy a free and hopefully peaceful evening...
I hope so too. After a long day of work and taking care of kids on top of it, you could probably use some quiet downtime.

Now I've had some sleep I can only conclude that it was some kind of bizarre and almost successful attempt at brainwashing. It was the kind of imagery that goes in like a blade and seeks out the reddest and most vulnerable parts, and in its way (strangely) I was pleased about it, Halloween season being that wildly freakish time when literally anything goes :-) And it almost did...

My other half is a really good person, a real gem, but she has an amazing ability to withhold information it would be far better knowing a reasonable time in advance until just before the event. Half an hour, after a long night and attendant energy depletion, is not enough time to be told to grovel around on your hands and knees reaching for inaccessible inflow and outflow pipes in corners of the kitchen that are best avoided if you want to keep from becoming radioactive. There were things down there even a warped mind like mine could hardly contemplate. They might even have been breeding... We eventually got it done and the two lazy bastards who delivered the new one (that'll cost you extra, so will that, err, and that) only completed the uninstallation job because they had agreed to take the old one with them. They refused to plumb in the new one unless we paid them to. Incredible what passes for service these days. So I grovelled around again, this time lifted by the thought of saving money and preventing the two shits from shafting us as they wanted to.

Bed, when I got there, felt like a shallow grave, but I was grateful even for that.

you mean skyrim, I'm all for fallout 4, I did play 3 many many years ago but it seems that I had some awful mod in new vegas that there was radiation storm and I was in the darkest night ever and I got poisoned and died because. It was bullshit in my opinion. anyway.. Like I played mass effect with a girl-character.. I will play fall 4 with a girl even if I'm a guy.. I just like having an option. Infact mass effect was better as a girl, just because it took less space because fov was horrible in second and third one. Also, I liked the voice actor, who ever she was.

Ya I've actually been turned off by a few here in the last few years. Luckily I still love baseball, which is what I was mentioning here (MLB - Major League Baseball). My team was done for a long while back LOL but I really do like watching the game so I tend to follow quite a bit of it, whether that's minor league, preseason, postseason or just a random game on a rainy Tuesday (it's currently the postseason). This has actually been on of the better / more intense postseasons that I can remember in recent years, especially early on.

I was always surprised how much NASCAR has caught on here, and how much F1 DIDN'T. I've never been a racing fan but F1 seemed like a much more interesting sport. The speed, the wild tracks, the CRAZY locations - everything about it seemed much more "amped up."

*edit to add LOL - and enjoy your new sink I'm guessing? ;) Or maybe dishwasher?

Empress_Owl: Yeah... i got really disturbed by the end... :-\
Didn't get that far. Got stuck in that forest and couldn't find the puzzle piece.
It's been a pretty busy day. Lots of play with Sarge, I made a wee bit of progress putting together storage cubes for my records, and I just sat down to check the forums, only to find a lovely gift in my inbox. Please assault moonshineshadow, Gnostic, and IAmSinistar with +1's anytime you see them. :)

I hope you're all having a lovely day! I'm about to make a fresh pot of coffee to get me through the rest of the afternoon.
*hugs and waves all around*

Good evenoon, RumpleStiltonkin. Can't really remember yesterday that well (my memory sucks) but I'm feeling quite splenderiffic today.
Currently torturing myself with Volgarr The Viking. Still stuck on the first level ):-\ ... It's brutal as pluck, but somehow I just can't stop playing.
I just hope you will all get eaten by a draugr..

Or perhaps this is just a fast feeling which is over in a flash.

F1 is more 'technical' than NASCAR (which I also like) in that the drivers are required to turn right as well as left :-) (feeble joke). There are also rain races, which can be really exciting as wet weather tends to take the edge off certain kinds of aerodynamic advantage which some teams have over others.

It was a dishwasher old for new swap. Its transformed our lives! Praise the great god Bosch for his infinite splendidness! A bit of grovelling clearly works....
