EndreWhiteMane: First impression of Rebel Galaxy is "Wow, is this fun!" :-)
Good looking and awesome soundtrack.
Fun aliens to talk to. (and shoot at)

On the other hand the new Sword Coast Legends seems to be failing miserably in the reviews.
That's actually quite surprising to me.
It's another Baldur's Gate Dark Alliance/Daggerdale situation. They built up hype around it being a D&D game based on the new D&D rules, but it's apparently some adapted quasi-form that doesn't even come close. Not a smart move when people have been wanting a game based on D&D rules and there hasn't been one since Neverwinter Nights 2.
From what I read, if I'd spent 40 dollars on that expecting something like Baldur's Gate and they missed the mark that hard? I would be pissed. Apparently Wizards of the Coast (the owners of D&D) is okay with Pillars of Eternity eating their lunch right now along with Torment: Tides of Numenera eating their lunch a bit further down the line.

Stilton: Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

I didn't say that! It was Frank Gable!

Or Frank Butler....

That's become something of a comedy classic with loads of quotable lines :-) Top Secret was another one.

I like this :-) Try to just look at the picture and not the title under it!

Do you think all those scammers will disappear from the Gog forum if people stop trading Steam keys ?

No. Some "people" will keep trying as long as there's an opportunity. GOG, Steam, wherever, if they think there's a chance to rip people off and get something for nothing, they'll keep trying.

So it's up to Gog's lazy staff to fix our problem .

As long as people trade openly, the risk will be there. If GOG stepped in and banned trading, there'd be a huge uproar.
It's yet another situation where no matter what they do, people will give them shit about it.
Ultimately, it's up to the traders to take precautions, understand the risks, then decide whether or not to engage with people.

I know who I can trust. (99.9 percent of them being people who frequent this thread.) Also, I don't do trades in general. I know there's no way to recoup a loss if I get ripped off, beyond the simple fact of not trusting people I don't know. If I want something, I obtain it myself. I don't trade, I don't ask people to get it for me. If I can't get it myself, I don't get it at all.

I can't see GOG being able to do much about the problem aside from kicking the repeat offenders off the site. But then they'll be back with another name and the shit will start again before they are once again removed. To police the problem would probably take too much time and trouble for GOG to make a concerted effort with.

As long as temptation exists there will be opportunists looking for something for nothing.

One big thing a lot of people seem to forget or disregard is that GOG is, first and foremost, a video game store.
The forum is secondary by far. GOG isn't going to kneecap their overall prosperity and profitability for the sake of it, when they could be working on getting the store in better shape, getting more games, getting their client fully operational.
Hello everyone!
How was/is your day? I'm here sipping some cheap beer to distract me of the heat.

I agree. If they are going to redirect any effort then I would really appreciate an improvement in the day to day handling of the site in general. Just to know its reasonably bullet proof would make the GOGoholics among us feel a whole lot more happy. There have been too many times when the place has felt like its falling apart under bugs and weird anomalies.

Hi Leo. I could do with some cheap beer. Any beer.

How's your day been? Apart from hot...

That would increase overall customer confidence greatly. Not only would that be good for all involved with GOG, but it'd be a very good thing considering that the competition has a reputation for problems in the quality department.

Pretty ordinary which is good i guess. :-)
I've been doing some reports because in the next week I'll leave my position as apartment manager of the building where I live. Something I'm looking forward for some time.
