Great recommendations. seen both...really good movies - although i guess Life Aquatic (like most Wes Anderson movies) is not for everyone due the unique style :)

ddickinson: I found that the time period of the DLC made little sense (too much apparently happens in such a sort amount of time), but if you ignore that it is a fun game. Some people hate the game and pick lots of faults, but it is just a game, and for what it is it is good, at least i think so.

I guess some of the problem with me is that I often play such games with my partner as we enjoy playing games together, so maybe if I was alone it would be more scary, but a lot less fun for me.

Thank you. I am sure it will be a fun vacation no matter what I get up to.
With the right or wrong mindset, anything can be picked apart. Good thing I don't pay attention to people doing that.

Sounds like you have the better setup. Enjoyment trumps synthetic fear.

I just remembered Broken Flowers has a few scenes that are a bit... but well, overall it's a really good movie :)

...What? Wes Anderson movies are for everyone! Mandatory! :p Except that with the boyscouts and such, never really got around to watching it through... It was too wesandersony :)

It looks like I've finally joined the ranks of the unwell :-(

The belly thing might be IBS, whose company I've had the pleasure of for thirty years or so. It comes and goes and at times can be pretty debilitating, and right now I've got a pinching pain in my right side which came on with a vengeance yesterday and which feels like it might me IBS related. I'll see the doc and get it checked, to be sure. If we were all bodiless entities with the necessary bits to play PC games life might be a lot happier.

A bit what?...it's been some since i watched it...want to see some more Jim Jarmusch movies in the future (only watched Broken Flowers and Dead Man so far)

Really? Don't you think some of them are a bit wesandersony? :P
But they great nonetheless and i like his quirky style.

Out of curiosity. What's your opinion on Aki Kaurismäki's movies? Only watched Le Havre and Leningrad Cowboys Go America (which is only subtitled in Germany btw :) ) so far.

Chili or a vacuum cleaner - when it gets like this I don't really care (that might be too much information, sorry).
