Are you using mouse and keyboard or did you go with the controller?

That is somewhat tempered by the fact that if you get in an impossible jam you can exit to the menu and when you come back to the game it will have put you in a safe spot.
At least you don't have to replay the same section 100 times.

And so far i'm having fun with the game...and i'm pretty sure the game won't be nowhere near as complex as an X-game ;)

I went directly for the controller....at least it's recommended but i might try it with mouse and keyboard tomorrow...when i restart it to play it for real and not for checking and testing :)

Edit: Just tested it with Mouse and keyboard and it's also good...maybe i keep using that...aiming is usually better with a mouse.

When I was cyberstalking the game (LOL) waiting for a release date I saw the developer talking about how "coding" (I guess?) for M&K was tougher than he thought. I have yet to play a game on PC using a controller! I *almost* was going to, once but ended up really enjoying the K&M controls.

I'm curious if this game will be the one, or if the way I imagine keyboard and mouse playing out is how it is handled in game and easy for me to work with.

I have NO IDEA how to play with a controller on PC. I feel like I'd be "too far away" from the screen. Just sitting here "pretending" doing it while I type feels odd LOL.

Just edited my previous post after i gave a short try with K&M and it worked pretty fine for that short testing period. Well play some game with Controller. The Lego games for example .... but i usually prefer M&K as well.

Neat thanks! I think unless I get the impression the "feel" of the game would be better with a controller, my streak won't be broken.

*edit I'm guessing the one that does it will be Hand of Fate, when I pick that one up...

I didn't even see where a controller was recommended, maybe I'll have to take the brand new one that I've had for 4 years out of the package.
Embarrassing fact: I've never used a game controller in my life, joystick many times, controller no. :-)

And I thought I was odd for never having used one on PC! That's an even more wild streak!

No problem. Wanted to know that myself....but i'm not sure if it's possible to switch on-the-fly because the control variant is chosen in the launcher.
Well the game states that in the launcher but seems to work fine with M&K...

For me it's more or less the other way round...never really used a joystick and i guess that more embarrassing ;)

Well, that was shit timing on my ISP's part.

In the middle of talking with people in between waiting for the deadline on the mafia game, and what happens? My internet crashes so hard they have to send a tech out here to the middle of nowhere to fix the link at the end of the road.
