Even having a cartoon playing in the background is enough to make it Halloween when you're making colourful food and things. Here's another which might be good.

Too easy! I like your commitment :-) It looks like they're going to grow up with a mother who likes to make Halloween a little more than just another night of the week :-)

More difficult than putting a name tag on your shirt that says "Rick" when your name is actually "Steve". Now that is an easy costume :-p

Yes, I'd be happy if they like celebrating Halloween... so that I celebrate it too, through them :-p

Until you get carried away and smash the bathroom door with your Viking axe, which will annoy your Shieldmaiden and get you in lots of trouble. And end with your axe being confiscated. :-)

I don't mind. We are used to being outnumbered. Numbers are not everything in a war, just look at Agincourt. :-p

I'm glad I had a part in giving her nightmares! -Joke!- But you won't be surprised to hear that I like nightmares :-)

Does anyone else picture Stilton in full Viking gear sat at his computer pretending he is a mighty warrior, only for his Shieldmaiden to appear and tell him to get the pots washed and the house work done? To which a sad faced Stilton puts down his axe and helmet and just says "yes dear" and sulks off to do the house work. :-)

I was invited to a Halloween party at the last minute (literally- less than 60 seconds notice), and didn't have time to find or make a costume. So I just threw on a jacket that had like 19 pockets and said "I'm a paratrooper".

I'm not proud of that.

Not at all. I like the comical image of a giant muscly Viking pretending he is all tough, only for his pretty little Shieldmaiden to appear and show who is really the boss. My parents are like that. My father likes to think he is the top dog, the one that is in charge. But that soon changes when my mother tells him to do something. :-)
