Empress_Owl: I don't know... I like home made jam (with fruits... is it right ? only fruits and sugar... jam !!! no gelatine... >__o)
Home made jam is so tastey, and you can use lots of different fruits.

Gelatine is actually an animal by-prodcut, the jelly substance you get in pork pies and things like that. At least in the UK, other countries might use the word differently. (Did you know that a lot of gelatine comes from bones, skin, and connective tissues, and that it is used in a lot of candy and even jelly itself?)

Stilton: Great movie idea - Attack of the Killer Muffins! Vikings and muffins fighting for world domination, but who will win!?

I'd pay to see that (not much, but I'd pay).
It can't be worse than the Killing Tomatoes series... Or the giant Moussaka attack... heehee

Empress_Owl: Hehe, a sidekick, awesome idea... Eer, that being said, I don't know if we'll keep him yet :-\
I don't have any idea yet, for the costumes... I won't have enough time to make some, so I'll just buy cheap ones :)
The main point is to find pumpkins and plastic spiders.
Haa, good idea, I'll ask Endre :D
That is a shame. But I bet f he did have to go he would always remember you for saving him. You will always be his Owl mummy.

I am sure what ever costume you decide will look great. And why plastic spiders? Real ones are much better. :-)

*big hug*

ddickinson: I am not even sure why the Americans changed the name of jam, it has been known as jam for a very long time. They call jam jelly, and then called jelly jello. I wonder what jam means now in the US? :-)

Stilton: The use of the word 'birth' seems to imply the presence of some kind of strange science in the muffins' creation. Like a sort of 50s sci-fi movie plot and baking with 'odd' ingredients. We might all be joking about this, but it could really mean a threat to global safety. It could be a case of, as they said back in the fifties: "Watch the skies!"

Empress_Owl: What is it... does Sup make some Franken-muffins ?... ,',',',,','):-|
I think Super's mother made them, and together they unleashed them on the world and they're out there now, silently taking over and changing the planet to their own terrible needs!

BEWARE THE MUFFINS! BEWARE THE MUFFINS!!

Yes, I know, that's why I'm not fond of it. They make gelatine sheets to add in pastries here... and there are tons in candies too... (which I eat, anyway, but, well). Jelly as we can see in cartoons (supposed to be Americans favourite dessert) isn't appealing at all to me >__o

It is actually quite useful for a lot of things, but many people prefer not to know where it comes from. They like candy, but tell them it come from boiling bones and things and they tend to be put off. At least it is natural stuff and not artificial chemicals, although those are often added to candy and things anyway. :-)

I know, I was just being silly. I saw a place in London last year that had little robot spiders that moved like real spiders across the floor. They were a little too big, but they looked nice. They also had butchers selling sausages that looked like severed fingers, which was funny as my sister in law has been doing that for ages at her family butchers. They love doing silly things for Halloween, and Christmas and things like that.
Hello all!

I hope you had a good weekend and I wish a nice week for all of us.
