ElTerprise: Would agree....worst thing is having those kind of people in the own family....
I feel your pain...

Yes...can be really annoying..at least they're not part of my closest family circle...and i don't see them that often.

How are you?
Just bought some star trek novels, nerding out with those too. Starting to build a collection of them.

Fine, for the most part. We've been to Cirque du Soleil - Varekai today! Terrific! Awesome! Incredible! Beautiful! 400€ for four people, two hours! And totally worth it! ;-)

Other than that... caught a cold. Got into heavy rain on Friday taking the little one to kindergarten and then spent most of the day in soaked trousers in the office. Comes back to me now :-/

Glad to hear that. But sorry to hear about the cold....hopefully you'll get rid of it asap :)

Oh Circle du Soleil sounds indeed awesome. Would love to see them live at some point as well.

Yep I'm aware. But have to start somewhere. I'm mostly only into collecting the Original Series ones for now. Though I do own one TNG novel. Been buying them digitally on bookshout.com

I see. From the few Star Trek novels i read i'd definitely recommend the Vanguard storyline...which is at least set in the TOS timeframe.
At least it won't take much space that way ;)

Well i'm not the biggest TOS fan but the Eugenics Wars thingy sounds interesting.

Yeah I need 1 and 3, then I could really dig into that series. I'd say TOS then TNG are my favorite Trek series. I liked DS9 but not as much as the first two series, and I generally ignore VOY or Enterprise.

Interesting. DS9 is my favourite, followed by TNG and TOS, then Enterprise and Voyager as my least favourite series (really a shame because i liked the premise of that one)...

I also want to get the rest of the flag full of stars/traitor winds/etc series. As it takes place after the series but before the first movie.

Never heard of them but i guess that might have to do with the fact that not all of the series are actually available in Germany (which shouldn't be an issue any more though due to Ebooks - although i still prefer reall books)

Yeah, I just like to buy digital since I can just keep all of my books on either my tablet or my phone, or read them in the browser on the bookshout site. Saves a lot of space. :)

I can see the appeal of that but i'm still not convinced by ebooks yet....
