moonshineshadow: Normally people who want to show their library do that on the gogwiki ;-)

PookaMustard: Doesn't seem like an attractive solution, editing a wiki and making a page for yourself and all, plus leaving the forums to the wiki. Not to mention that one of its biggest problems is that I might need to link it. With my current rep, linking is non-existent. Having a thread all for it on the same forums seems like a better idea, don't you think?
It is no work. Using barefoot essentials you can sync the library to the wiki with one click ;-)
And Barefoot Essentials also makes links to the wiki, so you only need to click on someones name to open the page :D

ddickinson: It is strange what some find scary and others do not. But at least you still enjoyed the game. It played very well, and I liked the little things like being able to knock things over on tables and things.

My partners birthday is in the first half of November, so it is kind of an early vacation thing for her, plus it was on the 30th October last year that I proposed to her, so it is kind of an anniversary/birthday/why not, trip. :-)

I thought every guy liked those leathery skinned US porn stars with giant fake boobs that look sooooo realistic and appealing [/sarcasm]? Inflatable boobs? Where they clown women? :-)
The little things are often some of the most important things for me when it comes to games. I love how the weapons "feel" in FEAR. The recoil, the sound, the animations, the effects, etc. Boom! Boom! Boom! >:-) Monolith has always been good at that. Other companies fall flat in that department (as much as I love Call of Duty, it always felt like the weapons were made of cardboard.)

Double celebration!! \o/ (Triple, if you count Halloween!) That sounds awesome. Hope you have a great time :-D

Clowns? Well...
☑ Inflatable boobs
☑ 6 pounds of makeup
☑ Ridiculous shoes
☑ "Balloons"
☑ Makes you giggle
The comparison is quite interesting ^^

AgentBirdnest: The creepy atmosphere had me constantly on-edge. The sh*tty flashlight in a dark building really increased the scary factor for me (FEAR 2 has a flashlight that never dies... pfft... lame!) Plus, all the jump scares were really effective on me. Anytime I'd see the little girl when I turn a corner, or when some objects randomly started moving, my heart would start racing ',',,'',):-\
I'm beginning to think that me knee pain from this last year may be caused from scary video games making me jump and smash my knee against my computer desk ;-p

A Halloween vacation? Sounds lovely (I hope!) :-D

So, I just Oogled "Sudoku porn"... it actually exists XD ... and no, no creepy anime stuff... just creepy* real girls instead :-|
(*in my opinion. Everyone has their own taste of course, and that's great. 6 pounds of makeup and inflatable boobs are not my thing.)

ElTerprise: Thank you.
Haven't really looked closely at the promo so far - only noticed that it's a rather interesting promo :)
avatar
ddickinson: It does indeed look like a good promo, with a nice selection of games.

Hello DD.... you must now stuff yourself to gain energy and suchlike! ;)

ddickinson: Good day!

Hello! If I stuff myself I will be sick, and I would hate that as I have been doing quite well keeping food down. :-)

How are you? I have been meaning to ask you something (which you might not know). Does Moomin mean anything in Finnish/Swedish?
*snuggles DD* Hello my beautiful!

Having to install a secondary tool just to link my library? That doesn't look like an attractive solution for many, though it could be for me. Thanks though!

I have only really played the WW2 Call of Duty games. The more modern ones never really appealed to me, especially as I see/hear more about them. Nothing against those who like the new games, they are just not for me.

There are others things to celebrate as well, but those are secret :-). We will be doing nothing special, maybe just a visit to the coast for a while, then see where we go from there. It will just be nice to get away together for a bit while we still can.

They make you giggle? I won't ask. O_o :-)

Hello, little Blob!

How are you today? Have you seen the new anime styled games?

*big hug*

Yup. Interesting that the new releases are already part of it as well...and at least the Shantae thingy does look somewhat interesting ... no idea what to think about the other two new releases though.

The WW2 ones were my favourites. The expansion to the first game, United Offensive, was my personal favourite of the entire series. I enjoyed the first modern game, but didn't really bother with the series after that.

(I giggle at just about everything :-))
I bought Lula and Hunipop, does anyone know how I get my Steam keys for those?

Oh, okay... better keep it slow then. Quality, not so much quantity? ;)

Ah, A Moomin is 'muumi' in Finnish and it doesn't really mean anything in the language. I guess Tove Jansson coined the term to be used as a race, you know, as in like goblins, gnomes and moomins ;)

There's a story in Finnish wikipedia that her uncle coined the word first, when he told her scary stories about some scary creatures who lived in a food closet :)
But those were not the real moomins! ;)
Real moomins are nice and polite just like Tove Jansson describes them!
*hugs and waves all around*

Still not quite awake... having quite a nausea spell this morning, but Sarge is still snuggled up on the couch asleep, so at least I'm not keeping him up. :)

Reading back through the thread now... Hello to all of you and I wish you all a lovely day! More from me when I can get the belly under control.

In the mean time, I'm going to put on some coffee, if anyone needs a cup. :)

More unexpected new releases! I can't keep up!

No, of course it doesn't.
