toxicTom: Actually I doubt it. I've now encountered the goddess and I feel my motivation has dwindled. But we'll see, since it's one of these games that can be played for 15 minutes and it's not very large, so no reason to wipe it off the HDD right now.
The other secret characters - I've not met them yet. I looked up how to get them, but really? The ways are really obscure. I mean, getting the strange device could be found out, since the fairy hints that she likes dirty magazines... but the rest? Who buys a goldfish to throw it away?

CarrionCrow: The secret character bits aren't great. The one with sand wasn't hard to figure out, but when the game wants you to do something in an exact way while saying nothing about it? Recipe for frustration. And yes, the fish thing was also pretty bad. Completely lucked out on that one, no skill or thought to it.

If you're at the goddess, you're just about done. If you don't care about the extras, 4 more puzzles from start to finish and it's game complete.

CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

How's it going?
Going pretty well and you? :)

Think I'm going to make a sandwich, then go to sleep. It's a thrilling life, packed with more excitement than most people could handle. But someone's got to do it. (Also, I skipped dinner so I'm hungry now.)

Additional - Food's gone, dozing off, time to sleep. Have a good day, everyone. =)

Yeah, well... there's also the bit about switching to a female main character giving you different "end game" pictures. I might give the "female" option a try if there's different dialogue. That's the one thing I thoroughly enjoyed about the game. As (intentionally) clichéd and over-the-top it is, the writing and voice-acting are hilarious. But concerning that - I actually like Venus least so far. "The bitch" and "the nerd" are my favourite, with the "naughty teacher" coming close behind.
Waiting for the Thursday release... Better be a good one to make up for all the broken sh*t lately >:-p
It had better be free too... with a bonus coupon for free donuts...
Plus, I want a dinosaur.

Now I am craving donuts. Enough to feed a dinosaur. ;)
Not that I could eat them this morning, but I am at least confident I'll be able to hold some coffee down. So I suppose it's time to get on that, as sleep seems to be done with me for now.

*Good morning, folks! I hope you're all having a lovely day!

Endre and Stilton, thanks for the feedback about BFG... for some reason, I was convinced that if I uninstalled their games, I may not be able to reinstall them. Not even sure if I saw someone stating as much, or if I just decided that in my head one day. Both are about as likely. ;)

That dinosaur is actually cute enough to eat... I may end up with a pet donut. ;)
I really thought a new release would hit at 9am (my time... meaning, like, just now) but I suppose not. But coffee is brewing, the world is beginning to make a little sense, and Sarge is all kinds of bubbly this morning. All--or at least most--is right with the world thus far. ;)
I hope you have a great day yourself!

Sounds like an absurd level of excitement! I'd say I could handle it myself, but it would depend strongly on what type of sammich was being made. ;)
Good night, and rest well!

Hello again folks *big hugs and waves*

Gee..reinstalling Windows (10) was a real PITA - it's funny. Installing Debian on that machine was way easier ;)
But Windows needed some registry edits to function properly....

How are you all doing?

This dino looks especially delicious :-)

I was just browsing the "Where the hell" thread. There are two new games that (according to their websites) will be released today on GOG. This one, and this one. I'm still hoping for a classic release though.

Hello there! *big return hug*

I dread the idea of having to reinstall or upgrade Windows. I'm currently on 7 and it works fine, but I'm also on my first-ever SSD system drive and already felt at the time like that alone made things too complicated... trying to figure out which system folders I could move to a secondary HDD was enough of a pain... what doing so will mean when it's time to upgrade or reinstall, I have no idea. What's odd is, I've had since my last year or two of high school to teach myself to use a PC, and I've learned a lot of fun stuff about modding / flashing different gadgets and such, but when it comes to managing Windows, I feel horribly under-qualified.

I hope you're having a good day, at least outside of the Windows mess. :)

I haven't tried 10, but I don't envy your installation. Every windows installation has been a PITA for me 3__3

Doing good here, even with nothing exciting at all to speak of. How about yourself?

Holy cow... I know it is believed many dinosaurs were feathered instead of being green and scaly like a lizard... were they actually glazed as this might suggest, it would really answer a lot of questions regarding their sudden extinction... ;)
Thanks for the links! I'm not familiar with either game, actually. Not sure either would be an insta-buy from me, but both look interesting enough to keep an eye out for some reviews.
Good day everyone!

Its actually National Nose Blowing day here, and I've spent the morning walking around blowing people's noses. I had mine blown a couple of times too, which was fun.

The DRM debate of yesternight was interesting stuff and has made me resolute in deciding to be as 100% anti it as possible. Its a pity that the Puzzle Quest games are either Gamersgate or Big Fish, both of whom like to complicate the purchase/installation situation with the premise that any money paying customer is a potential criminal. But that's how it goes in this inane and insane world of ours.

How's the coffee, gaming, dinosaur eating, three-matching, head colds, etc. ?

Well i need Windows on my notebook for university because some tools i use are Windows-only. And my previous Win10 installation on it had some driver issues which seem to be resolved now.
Yes managing Windows can be "fun"... but after i learned a lot from being the family's techguy ;)

Well i'm still a bit ill so i guess i'm okay - how are you?

Sorry to hear that Windows likes to troll you but that happened to me as well with most installations - ususally the drivers and updates tend to be a problem....

Glad to hear that - doing okay...
