Stilton: These Puzzle Quest games sound good - where can I get hold of them, preferably as DRMless as possible?
Puzzle Quest 1 is available through Gamersgate. Wish I'd checked that beforehand...
AgentBirdnest: Well, looks like I'll fall asleep with little trouble tonight, which is more than welcome. Already dozing off at my keyboard.
Good evenight, everyone! *hugs, waves, helmet tips, and polite nods to everyone*
See you another time (probably tomorrow) :-)
Goodnight, sleep well. =)
l0rdtr3k: Gonna go to sleep now.
*gives everyone a big goodnight hug*
And goodnight to you also. =)
CarrionCrow: If you'd bought Hunie Pop and expected Puzzle Quest, you would have been disappointed. Hunie Pop is based around a timed match-3 mechanic
Ixamyakxim: Oh eww yeah - seeing inventory, stat based stuff, accumulating different "blocks" for different effect and a conversation mechanic is what made me think PQ but timed is a no way.
And Jays are going to the ALCS. Let's see who they'll play...
These ballparks have been INSANE - I can't remember so many series where the crowd was so amped up. Numerous times over the last week or so I've had people say "I didn't know basketball was on" because of how loud / intense the noise was.
Yeah, you noticed the mechanical similarities. I noticed that chunks of the game felt like Puzzle Quest while going through it. Would have preferred if the the move restriction wasn't there at all, it made the end game puzzles very samey feeling.
