EndreWhiteMane: What's this I hear about a 'pirate' RPG Boxer Dog man? :-)
avatar
Ixamyakxim: LOL I lied a "bit" but Rogue Galaxy looks a TON like a pirate RPG (though I think lacking a character / persona to level) set in space. But from everything I've seen it looks like the gameplay will essentially be the ship to ship combat of Assassin's Creed, done with a starship in a fairly open world.

Not exactly the later Sea Dogs games I've been hoping hoping hoping for, but I think a bit of space opera with some similar stuff might tickle my fancy nicely.
So I'm clearly missing plenty tonight, but I have to share that I read this entire post thinking you were referring to Rogue Legacy, though I have no idea why... I was sitting here thinking, "how on earth did they take that away from the game?"
Once I realized I was just reading it wrong, I was reminded that this has kind of been happening all day. ;)

Stilton: 2:20 is late/early enough.

Its been fun, as usual. Keep well and sleep well :-)

'Night all.
Good night! And I'll consider posting Halloween pics, so long as you all give me a *very* good reason to dislike you between now and then. It'll certainly be a frightening affair. ;)

This makes me feel much better about my own norm. ;)
I sometimes feel like I hear all too often things like, "how did you make it this far?" And I feel like it's far too obvious to have to point out that I just had the common sense to get really, really lucky. ;)

I really like that line, I can me using it often in the future. ;)

Someday someone's going to mention a movie and when I check Netflix it'll actually be there. :/

Ixamyakxim: What you mention about the US and the evening air, the smells, sounds and light are what I love the most about the season. Halloween happens to be a bit of a focal point but Fall where I live is an amazing time of year.

I've been so excited about the time of year that I almost forgot how much more magical this time of year was when I lived in a part of the country with actual seasons (i.e. not Florida.) Virginia and the Carolinas are so gorgeous this time of year... makes me want to go on another road trip, even though I just had my first in six years just this past August. :) I think I'll have to convince the lady to take one more road trip this year, even if it's just up to Savannah for a weekend, to take in all the color we miss out on down here. :)
*Off to make spaghetti, see y'all later.*

Ooh, that sounds good... I hope you enjoy it! Take care!
I'm enjoying the crap out of the last of a strawberry banana smoothie, which has carried me though the day like a champ. But if it suddenly turned into spaghetti, I certainly wouldn't complain. ;)

This got particularly freaky when I forgot it was playing for a brief minute and tried to catch up on the thread a bit while this continued to play out on my headphones. :)

Have you seen this prick? Report immediately to Beulah Balbricker.
Just reporting in, sirs, ma'ams! :P
Just to let you know things are fine... thought I encountered some raiders but false alarm...
it was just... the Simpson family...
*Good night hugs*

4:47 (am). Server maintenance... finished. Damn, that took longer than I thought.
It's good to appreciate the little things in life. Right now, my biggest dilemma is what class to play as in a video game.
Considering that, things could be a hell of a lot worse.
Patch costlier than game

I am running Wild Hunt version 1.06...the latest version is 1.10
Now to update would cost $170 (downloading 17GB of patch).
That's twice the price of the game itself.
What's more the expansion Hearts of Stone would run on version 1.10 only
and that's another 4.4GB download which is $44

So ...for me to play the expansion which I prepaid for would be to fork out
at least $214

As I am new to gaming...I did not expect this at all...am I missing something
or all gamers have to suffer this?

In regards to the huge patch, that tends to happen with triple-A titles. Given how large the Witcher 3 is content-wise, 17 gigs worth of patching is pretty massive, but understandable since the game's hundreds of hours long.

The main problem appears to be whatever awful internet service you're using that charges 10 dollars for a single gig over whatever cap I'm figuring you must have.
