Agent: Wait, what? Aunt Carol died? When?
Agent's brother: 7 months ago.
Agent: :-|

Sorry to hear about your lack of loop knowledge.
Hey Agent, how are you doing?

You just perfectly described my life to me. :P Almost the same thing happened to me two weeks ago. I also went like: wait, what, he's dead? And no one bothered to tell me? And now this stuff again. You'd think it would be easier to just communicate every once in a while. :P

Sorry to hear you're not being included in the loop either! I think we should start our own loop just for the hell of it.

FearfulSymmetry: *huge hug*

Sorry to hear that. I wish I could actually burn those bad days to the ground, that would be great.

Haha, the silly dance might do the trick. :P I think the peanut butter thong would just scare me ... I imagine it's rather messy. :P It's okay, I'll be cheery again in a little bit, just have to get over the pissed off stage first. I don't know why communication is so hard for my family.

I'm going on an excursion to another city, and there will be time to squeeze a little shopping in there as well. :P And possibly a movie with a friend in the evening.

*ginormous hug*
Agent is such a bad influence, so many people eager to set fires now. :-)
*big thank you hug*

*does a very silly dance to cheer Fearful up*

I hope you will feel better soon, I know how it is getting all annoyed and just needing some time to calm down. Strangely a lot of that is caused by family, not my direct family, but my partners aunt at the moment, who is one of the nastiest people I have ever met, who has never liked me and seems to hate me with a passion for no reason whatsoever, other than me being with her niece. She is currently trying her best to cause more problems for us both despite us having enough to deal with at the moment, but nothing new there. At least my partner's mother is a bit better now, due to a big falling out she had with my partner and the ultimatums my partner gave her mother. Sorry, I did not mean to go on about my stuff. :-)

*big comforting cheer up hug*

Ah, I remember now (sorry I forgot, my mind is all over the place lately). I hope you have a good time, and try not to buy too many books. :-)
Do you have a movie in mind that you will see?

*gigantic hug*

Hello, Mr Agent!

I see you are not having the best of days. I hope you will feel better soon. We must have you fighting fit for when NOLF gets here and you have to make everyone buy it. :-)

Yes, my inner pyromaniac is really having a field day (week, month?). :P In all seriousness though I'm really sorry you're going through such a rough time and I wish I could do something about it.

*happily watches silly dance*

Ugh, yes, some people are just out to hate you no matter what you do. Really annoying when those people just won't leave you alone and constantly insist on making bad situations even worse. I hope she won't give you much more trouble. And hopefully things will turn out okay with her mother as well. Gee, that's a lot of hate to deal with. Don't let them hateful people get you down! *cheer up hug* And don't worry about it, you're allowed to rant too. :)

Don't worry about it, you don't have to keep track of everything I do. :P And that's going to be hard! Last time I left with seven books I think. :P Most of them were second-hand and quite cheap though, so at least I wasn't completely broke ... We're thinking of going to see Hotel Transylvania 2. It's a silly animated movie but we really enjoyed the first one. Unfortunately they are only screening the English version in two cinemas in the country, and we really don't want to see the Dutch dubbed one. So this is our one chance to see it, pretty much, because travelling this far just to go to the cinema is a bit too much. :P

That depends on if you want an honest or polite answer :-p

I think the fact that I don't use facebook causes a lot of communication problems. Also, my family is just terrible at communicating. I haven't known where my other brother lives for the last 11 years. It isn't a secret, he just forgets to tell anyone when he moves.

Alright! A new loop! Never been part of one before! ;-)

Honest, of course. :P From that I take it things are not going so well? *big get better soon hug*

I have Facebook! But my family doesn't really use that. However, I do have WhatsApp, and so do they, and I know they check it regularly ... I even talked with both my mother and my sister over WhatsApp a few days ago, but even then they can't be bothered to tell me anything important apparently. :P

Haha, auch. That is really quite disorganized. :P Seems like communication really is a problem area, then.

Yay! Our loop is going to be the best loop! :)

*big thank you hug*

Don't worry, they never really get to me too much. It is my partner that it bothers the most, as she feels torn. But not too torn, they once tired to make my partner choose between us, and my partner did not even stop to think, she chose me straight away. So they can be as nasty as they like, it won't come between us no matter how hard they try. I feel sorry for them in a way, they are that way due to their very nasty, bigoted, abusive, and just generally horrible father. I guess growing up with someone like him is bound to effect you. Not that that is an excuse for them being so nasty now, but I do feel a little sorry for them.

So you don't think I would make a good stalker then? I guess not, I can't even remember your trips. :-)
I am the same with books, I often tell myself I am just going to look, then I leave with lots of books. Who can resist some interesting books. Although I do hate getting a book home that looked good and finding out it is horrible. I love second hand books, as it gives me the chance to read books that are no longer in print, some of them quite old.

I have never heard of that film (no surprise there given my lack of keeping up with movies and tv), but I hope you have lot so silly fun watching your silly animation :-). It is funny how many people I have spoken to on here who say dubbing in their own language is often not very good. But then I remember some dubbing into English of Japanese movies and things and seeing how bad they were.

*big hug*

Couldn't they put the bottom men on it for once? Or middle men? We might get some better results that way :-)

I can imagine it must be difficult for her. And you're right, upbringing determines a large part of who we are ... but it doesn't excuse everything. :) I never get how people can be so hateful. I mean, they wouldn't like to have someone do that to them either, right? But I guess that's just one mystery I'll never understand. :P Hopefully the situation will become a bit better and they'll learn to respect you and your partner's choices.

It would also be pretty hard for you to stalk me when I haven't mentioned where exactly I'm going ... *looks around in a paranoid fashion at possible stalkers*

Haha yes, I do that too. I spent two hours in this bookstore last time. Luckily my friend loves books just as much as I do so she's only excited at the prospect of spending several hours in a store. :P And yep, sometimes books sound really good but they turn out to be terrible. Always a disappointment when that happens. Oh well, I could just put them aside I suppose, I already have too many books to read as it is ... :P

I think it should be fun. :P And Dutch dubbing is not necessarily bad, or at least it wasn't when I was a kid. Most of the Disney movies have excellent translations, for instance. Hercules is a lot funnier in Dutch than it is in English. :P Unfortunately it seems that there's less time or budget for translations/dubbings these days, so the quality goes down. And these days I tend to prefer watching stuff in English because my English has become much better. In this case it's especially important to me as I saw the first movie in English as well, and it would be weird to switch now. :P

Sorry for the late reply.

You are right, they should not really want to be the same if they went through it, but I guess there must be more to it, as it happens a lot with all forms of abuse and such things. Don't get me wrong, it in no way excuses such behaviour, but after hearing what kind of environment they grew up in, I can't say I fully blame them, their father was a bigoted and judgemental person, so I guess it was bound to pass on the them as they were growing up. The sad thing in my partners mother is apparently really nice normally, but she just can't get past a few things when it comes to me. But after many years she does seem to be at least trying, but I won't hold my breath. She might not be as bad as my partners aunt, but my partners mother has still been horrible to me, and not something I can easily forget or forgive.

*wonders how Fearful missed Endre hiding in the bushes with his telescope right behind her. But then he is a master at it, how else did he get all those nurses* :-)

It is worse when the blurb at the back completely misleads you about the book, or says very little about the book and just about the author. I rarely go on cover art, as that is often misleading. Hopefully you will have lots of fun on your visit, with the books and the movie.

I have not really played many dungeon crawlers, in fact the only one I can remember playing was Legend of Grimrock, which I played not too long ago.

I also like roguelikes. There are some great freeware ones that I recommend like Dungeon Crawl,Angband,Ancients Domains of Mystery and Nethack,of course.
