AgentBirdnest: Columbus doesn't deserve "pluck" >:-|
He doesn't deserve actual profanity either, so I used an asterisk ;-p
I see. So why the f*ck then?

AgentBirdnest: True. Can't say I tried too hard though, so I don't get a badge :-p
I guess you will just have to have a different badge then, that way you still get one for your collection.

*goes to look through old badges*

Found one. :-)

ElTerprise: Thank you *big get better soon return hug*
Hope so too but it doesn't look too promising - thankfully most of my courses start next week so i can have this week to recover :)
What you need is some really horrible tasting medicine or soup, those ones always work. :-)

Because the guy was one of the biggest assholes of all time. A brutal slave trader (father of the transatlantic slave trade, actually), mass murder, and all around evil-as-fuck piece of shit. And we celebrate him like he is the greatest hero of all time.
A pretty good summary of what Americans usually believe, compared to the truth.
Hmm...what are your thoughts of the weekly staff picks? I actually don't own any game from it :)
Any of them worth playing?

I have heard mixed things about Toren, and I know that Miss Take was recently on the lower tier of Humble, Steam and DRM free. So technically you could get a DRM free copy of it for $0.01, and a DRM free and Steam for $1. And to be honest, Miss Take looked a bit dull and repetitive to me.

Anna's Quest looks interesting, and apparently it is not made by Daedalic Entertainment, so the English voice acting is said to be good. :-)

God Save the Queen is apparently okay, if you like that kind of game. Some seem to enjoy it. I have it, but have not played it yet.

I did find another badge we made for you as well, maybe that will add a smile as well. It was to be yours once the game comes here, for all your words of praise for the game. :-)

Long live the Queen was fun. It is a bit like "Choose your own adventure". Depending on what you decide to do and what things to learn you get a lot of different playthroughs and endings.

Woooo! My favourite Agent ♥__♥
Indeed, it made me smile again ;-)

Maybe it will show up here tomorrow... [/dreaming]

I knew some of this already - but not all of that. And i now get the context. But i guess many people in Europe believe the same myths about Columbus....

Good GOG... You aren't actually reading that link, are you ElT?
I need to keep my mouth shut. I get too passionate about the subject...

You never know, would you have thought there would be a porn studio simulator on GOG, yet we have one now. So keep your chin up about NOLF, one day it could be right there on the front page, dedicated to Agent for all his kind words about the game. :-)

I will see about making one for you when I am feeling up to been at the computer a bit more. :-)

Are there any that catch your eye? And keep in mind it was just my opinion, so be sure to check the games yourself as well if you like the look of them.

Haven't played any "Choose your own adventure" games thus far - although the idea behind them sound neat. I actually thought it would be more of a visual novel game (like the pidgeon game) ... but that isn't case then i guess. Although i'm not a huge fan of the artstyle that does sound somewhat appealing. Thanks :)

Too late. Already reading it...
And that's perfectly fine that you get passionate about it.

I am not sure if you can really compare the pigeon game and long live the queen. since the first one is a dating sim. And not really sure what is categorized as visual novel. It is a really wide term.

Well i originally thought about Miss Take and possibly Toren but as i said - not sure about that. But that after reading Moons post about Long live the Queen i might take a closer look at that one as well. But there's no need to rush a decision :)
