Stilton: Thank you, Moon, that explains a lot. Still, if the site was efficient the impact would be much less. I wish they'd get things sorted out, its been going on for ages.
How is your day? Hope you have a relaxing weekend planned.

moonshineshadow: Day is going ok, could be worse ;-)
Nothing really planned for the weekend. Just the usual apartment cleaning and then probably playing games :D
How about you?
*big hug*
Same thing here. The house needs sorting out, and there are a few games that I've been meaning to play. I bought Europa Universalis 3 yesterday and it looks really appetising. If I start that I might not be back on the forum this year...

moonshineshadow: The problem is that they just released a 17GB Witcher 3 patch. So the servers are failing... like always when they did some big Witcher 3 stuff ;-)
Doesn't explain the chat problem though... That's been a problem, well, since chat was introduced. But more than usual over these last few days.

So... can we start the fire now? >:-)

XxXSprayvWarXxX: Hehe :D Well, if you find this unexpected then you didn;t have checked Leisure Suit Larry games!
LSL are pretty much like those late night Skinemax movies. But you should play it for the humor and out there stories.

Hmm... then I strongly advise you not to start playing EU 3 :P

I haven't and I want them too.

*skips off to my little inferno fireplace, with an evil grin on my face* >:-D

Really, though... Three lovely conversations this morning that were cheering me up, but had to be totally ruined by bugs. So frustrating :-\
Tant pis. *continues skipping* :-p

superstande: :)
I wondered about the hair... How's that possible!?

Stilton: Its because he's insanely happy, after all, every day's a good day when you paint!

Of course, it could be the shape of his head...
Ah that's it! We should paint something! :)

+1 attack! This guy above just delivered a parcel and I'm not supposed to open it until tomorrow!

HELP!

:-D

NoNewTaleToTell: You're welcome! Radical Larry is definitely one of my favorite ongoing fictional characters. Not that I would say otherwise, because well...his pyromaniac powers!

Thanks for the thoughts so far on Dex, sorry that it's not quite living up to its hype. Is it falling into the "eh, it's worth my money at least" category or the "well this was a waste of cash" category so far?
For me, it's falling under the heading of "you might like it, or it might seriously piss you off". It has potential, it has good things, but there are also problems, the save files not saving everything like you expect them to being a major one.

I'm 12 hours in, and the obnoxiousness level hasn't gone beyond grumbling about stuff rather than wanting to scream. I'm still interested in the game, not on the verge of deleting it. If it's something you think is appealing, I'd say go for it. There are bugs, but at least the developers are trying to make it better rather than going with the triple-A approach of "You will eat our shit and like it."

toxicTom: Argh, Deathtrap Dungeon in the promo. Stay away, that's one really frustrating game.
That's why I bought it. First played it on the PS 1, that was I can't even remember how many years ago. At the time, it kicked my ass halfway down the block.

I hate it with a passion. Not many games have achieved this. :-D

LeoLR: Crow will have a field day. :-)
He is slightly addicted to match-three games.
I like the format when they try to do something extra with the formula.

Puzzle Quest 1 and 2 add a full-on RPG (albeit one that's pretty light on story) to the mix. Ironcast adds rogue-like elements to it, a slow progression over multiple playthroughs until you've gotten enough upgrades to take out the asshole in the overpowered spider mech. You Must Build A Boat adds both reflex-based and RPG elements to the match-3, along with the extra touch of it all being made for one guy who apparently just likes making fun games for people.
A straight match-3 like Bejeweled bores the everloving crap out of me.
Free for all movie scene of the day.
