akhliber: Good time-of-day from over here as well. *waves sleepily*

I can't seem to wake up enough to function today. Just tried to start a pot of coffee, and I seem to have forgotten to actually add coffee grounds before hitting "brew." I'm sure it will be an excellent round of hot water, at least. ;)

Just saw that The Age of Decadence was added to the "Upcoming" tab. Excited about this one, but almost more excited about the game-specific forums and potential character build talk that will hopefully result... Tried this one on Steam "Early Access" and I could never find a character build that could even survive the first handful of encounters.

Time to catch up on some more new music while I rub the sleep / dust / confusion from my eyes. I kind of still feel like I'm dreaming. Is this real life? ;)
avatar
CarrionCrow: Depends on your definition of reality. ;)
avatar
Stilton: Real life....real life.... Er, you got me there. I thought we were all computer generated. Or maybe this is a game we're in and someone's playing us? Is GOG the correct spelling of the place we congregate? It sounds unnervingly like something else...
avatar
CarrionCrow: -laughs- If someone's playing as me, I think they're either screwing around for giggles, or they're about 5 seconds away from being fall-off-your-chair drunk.
It makes you wonder - or maybe my helmet is too tight. That could be why I woke with a headache - but all red-blooded Vikings wear their helmets in bed.

Stilton: 408 games, I think. Enough to keep me occupied for a while...

Website hosts for your office...? **confused Viking frowning**
Indeed !! ô__ô
Yes... my boss wants me to find a better space for our professional website... and new mail adresses, too...

EndreWhiteMane: Southern France looks just like South Carolina in the U.S. right now.
Which is just what my town looked like in June of 2008.
After having gone through that I wouldn't wish it on my most hated enemy.

Aloha all, hope everyone is doing well and avoiding the water.
Aloha, Endre :) **big dry hug**
How are you doing ?...
Ho... I didn't know you had to go through massive floods too... :-(
I'm glad we don't have these in Northern France [/totally selfish]... poor people...

You could start up a new, work-specific, thread here. That way you can play games all day and watch the forum without looking over your shoulder all the time!

Boy, my name looks fancy in German. :-)
I'm doing OK today, enjoying paying bills. :/

CarrionCrow: Yeah, it's pretty frigging bad at the moment.

Good morning. =) No need to worry about that kind of water here. If that ever happens, it would mean the world is pretty much screwed since weather patterns have gone totally insane.

How're you doing today?
Doing OK today, the new meds seem to not be trying to kill me like the last ones. :-)

To make the download of my collection more 'interesting', my recent OS reinstallation (boy, do I like the high life!) is chucking updates at me like rotten tomatoes and making me restart every few minutes. It feels like I'm in the stocks at the moment.

Update: Restart... Here we go again.

Doing OK today Empress, glad you're staying dry.
GoDaddy is the webhost I've been using for some time now, not sure if the serve France as well as here though.

That sounds quite challenging :))

CarrionCrow: Also, good morning to you as well. =)

Don't feel too badly, my roommates do that at least once a week. Then they get upset and I have to explain to them what went wrong. -laughs-
I'm trying again now, taking this nice and slow... There will be coffee eventually. :)
At some point, the day will begin right and proper. For now, I'm content to just sit here half in space while I wait on some fuel.

Stilton: It makes you wonder - or maybe my helmet is too tight. That could be why I woke with a headache - but all red-blooded Vikings wear their helmets in bed.
Wouldn't worry about it too much. Either we're all ghosts in someone's head, phantoms flickering to life, then flickering away just as quickly, grinding through a predetermined path of love and happiness, misery and suffering, until we're dead, or randomly thrown about in the chaos of a world full of randomness that we try to perceive as a system with something resembling order, reason and purpose so we aren't driven insane by the reality of utter pointlessness, tiny human sand castles beaten to pieces by waves of the universe that neither know nor care that we ever existed.

Whichever makes you feel better. -laughs-
Hello all!

Is everything alright? I hope so.

Did you actually think that up this early in the morning? I could barely even read it yet. :-)

LeoLR: Hello all!

Morning Leo, all OK here.
How's life in the hot southern half?

Same question as Endre, along with another one: what kind of coffee are you drinking, and what's your secret ingredient? ;)

It'll be okay. Some more stimulants, and you'll be ready to go.

Also, glad to hear that your new meds are treating you better than the old ones. That's a tilt-a-whirl I wouldn't wish on someone I actually give a crap about. (Sorry, I'm too vindictive to go the "wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy" route like you can.)
