Stilton: My connection is kind of OK, but its going to take a couple of weeks, probably.

No shame in not planning. I've thought about some story ideas, but nothing is leaping out at me to get onto paper yet. I might actually typewrite this one - I've got a huge office Olivetti from the last batch that were ever made. I bought it new and its like a wonderful archaic piece of ancient history. It weighs a ton, doesn't need plugging in or booting up, and when it gets going it can be heard half a mile away. I love it ;-)
I do need to write an outline though, because if I don't I'll end up with a big mess of words that doesn't make any sense whatsoever. :P

Oh wow, that's pretty awesome! I imagine typing on that would give a very authentic feel if nothing else. :P And yeah, usually those ideas begin to resolve themselves into something coherent if you let them simmer for a bit.

You know, I've been looking at the pictures and videos of the air france executives...

Am I the only one who finds it odd that there are no black eyes to go with those ragged and torn shirts?

It is and it isn't... Having to do the lot again will take quite a long time, but knowing its all clean and healthy sort of compensates for the inconvenience.

On an OKometer I'd say I'm around the 'Good to Rather Peachy' reading :-)

How's it with you? Has the first gallon of coffee gone in yet? And did you manage to sleep in your bed (as opposed to your desk chair, thus sparing yourself the embarassment of having Logitech or similar inscribed backwards on your forehead)?

I can't seem to wake up enough to function today. Just tried to start a pot of coffee, and I seem to have forgotten to actually add coffee grounds before hitting "brew." I'm sure it will be an excellent round of hot water, at least. ;)

Just saw that The Age of Decadence was added to the "Upcoming" tab. Excited about this one, but almost more excited about the game-specific forums and potential character build talk that will hopefully result... Tried this one on Steam "Early Access" and I could never find a character build that could even survive the first handful of encounters.

Time to catch up on some more new music while I rub the sleep / dust / confusion from my eyes. I kind of still feel like I'm dreaming. Is this real life? ;)

That's good. Hope the stress levels drop a bit, sounds like they're kicking you in the head right now.

Can't complain here. Listening to some music that's reminding me of when I had it on a cassette, finishing off my first cup of coffee, fiddling around in the Mafia thread while kicking around the idea of grabbing some more games.

No desk sleeping, fortunately. Managed to get myself somewhere more comfortable with a bare minimum of dozing beforehand.

Southern France looks just like South Carolina in the U.S. right now.
Which is just what my town looked like in June of 2008.
After having gone through that I wouldn't wish it on my most hated enemy.

Real life....real life.... Er, you got me there. I thought we were all computer generated. Or maybe this is a game we're in and someone's playing us? Is GOG the correct spelling of the place we congregate? It sounds unnervingly like something else...

-laughs- If someone's playing as me, I think they're either screwing around for giggles, or they're about 5 seconds away from being fall-off-your-chair drunk.

Yeah, it's pretty frigging bad at the moment.

Good morning. =) No need to worry about that kind of water here. If that ever happens, it would mean the world is pretty much screwed since weather patterns have gone totally insane.
