j0ekerr: I'm finally at chapter 3. And it's taken me only... what? Three days?

I'm going slightly more mad!

So after I finish with Geralt rather than pick up the next one, I'm thinking I start one of the really huge AD&D ones. I've never played Baldur's gate.

*Insert insane laugh here*
You monster!

I took a peek at the jitsu wa anime.
It reminded me of why I stopped watching animu.
I still read it though.
PS: The source material is superior.

play thee a videogame, loyal goger! watch thee not, a television show! surf thee not, the web! play thee a videogame! choose videogames! dispense thyself with thine excusing prattle! thine appreciation of videogames is at stake! play a game!
I say thee NAY!

I recently emerged from a harrowing experience through the criminal underworld of Hell's Kitchen only to move to Alburquerque and get addicted to those blue crystals.

I regret nothing!

Pretty impressive! I just... stopped. I was really enjoying the game too and had put in a bit of time in the first "real" town (not just the outskirts and its environs). Loved the combat and as always there's a lot going on with the story / quest system (almost too much for me at times - I love the open and overlapping nature of quests in The Witcher, but at times can find it just a *tad* overwhelming - however I wouldn't change it a bit).

I really have to jump back into this one, or give a proper restart (I think I'd lean toward jumping back in at my last save and assuming I was able to "transition back into the story / gameplay" just go from there).

As a funny side note, I poured too much cinnamon into my palm when making some sweet potatoes for dinner. I didn't want to put it back into the cinnamon jar (I'm weird like that) so I thought "What the heck, into the coffee filter it goes!" and I'm now sipping said after dinner coffee - pretty good! Huge cinnamon notes, almost enough to bury the coffee "taste" (I drink mine black) but still a fan. I might do this on a regular basis now!

Funny glitchy moments, I was able to see Triss's teeth from the back of her head.
My last save was a year old, so I decided to start from the very beginning.
I missed the chance to pretend-bone a driad. Dem green tits!

What annoys me is that even though it's a game from 2007, I still get horrible framerrate in the cinematics.

Cinnamon flavoured coffe? I'll take that over cat poop coffee.
I still think battery acid is more savoury though.

PS: So I put cat poop coffe on google, and it suggests me other delicacies of great refinement such as casu marzu and balut.

Dropping the wrong acid.

LOL it was a weasel! ;) But I guess it does have cat in the... err nevermind. And I think you just inspired me to at least download The Witcher 1 and maybe fire it up sooner rather than later. Time to "mainline" the desktop PC for a nice speedy pull. Err, that sounds odd.

My Witcher gameplay is also on hold for the same reasons you gave. I agree with your opinion on the overwhelming sensation of the game.
My reply is actually to say that this cinnamon coffee sounds good. I'll probably try to replicate your accident. :-)

I really need to get back into it because I was enjoying the game. If you do attempt it, I'd guess it was about a teaspoon, maybe two that ended up in there? I'm trying to remember how much it looked like in my palm before I tossed it in LOL. The coffee was just for myself so I brewed one cup - I put it (the cinnamon) in the FILTER not the "finished" coffee itself. When dinner was over, I just added the coffee grinds (grounds? someone let me know the proper diction here because it's always bugged me ;) ) to the filter, gave a little stir to incorporate with the cinnamon that had already been sitting in there, closed the lid and let the pot do its thing.

Ok. When I get in the mood for some coffee I'll try this amount of cinnamon and see how it goes.

Stilton: Hi akh. Its been a day when I've felt at loggerheads a lot of the time. A bit of an uphill grind. A load of pending stuff has come to its sell by date at the same time, and to be honest none of it has been pleasant to deal with. It should be mostly sorted by tomorrow, so things will get back on to more of an even keel.

How's Superdog? He'd look great in a little red cape. I had a comic way back with the entire super family in it, like DC suddenly went a bit bananas.

I could do with a bit of that myself ;-)

akhliber: Hello! I certainly hope things settle some by tomorrow for you. Having another day of rest today did me wonders. The lady just got home from work, and we're going to have a bit of teevee.
Sarge is doing great, though he's away from home for the week (with an incredible trainer/human being to look after him.) I was hoping to catch him on her web cam today, but it wasn't active today. She sent me a couple pics yesterday of him running around stealing sticks though, and he looks happy as can be. Oh man, he'd look fantastic in a little red cape. That reminds me of a pic my wife made for me to cheer me up recently... now I have to find it...
Here you go ;-)

It's coffee grounds. =)
OK, kids, I'm off to face palm my pillow. Have fun, drink coffee, play games and try to behave!

'Night :-)

LOL thanks! ;) I was getting worried it wouldn't be answered as I've always wondered. Notice I even buried it in an innocuous manner in my post as well, as I felt a bit silly asking even here!
