pimpmonkey2382.313: lol sorry, still half asleep. Not as sharp as I should be. :p
-laughs- Don't worry about it. It sucks being up late when you'd rather be sleeping.

That sucks. Here's to hoping we both recover before we're wearing our lungs on the outside! I'm guessing that wouldn't be the most fun. ;)

AgentBirdnest: No prob.
I'm hoping that the staff picks will be everything I want and nothing that I don't want :-)
A random prediction, based on gut feelings : Tower defense.games. Because why not? :-p
Hm...not the worlds biggest fan of Tower defense games but maybe they'd include something like Space Run etc... in it..
But my hopes are similar. Let' see what'll happen :)
avatar
Empress_Owl: Good morning, people of the thread !
**Big hugs, waves and coffee**
I hope you're all doing good, or at least ok...
Did I miss something for the last 10 days... ?

Why is it always my old avatar ? >:-|
Welcome back! I hope you are doing well yourself! :)
avatar
ElTerprise: Good morning everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

How are you all doing?
Good morning! Got another good night of rest, and feeling a bit more energetic today. Sorry to hear you're feeling a bit ill, I hope you recover soon!

Morning, Wings :-)
Off the top of my head... Pimp is back, Leo got the 70,000th post, I'm the most evil/demonic person here, and GOG got the Wolfenstein games.

The avatars still won't update for anyone >:-/
avatar
Empress_Owl: Thanks for the quick summary :)
Hum... why didn't you burn GOG to the ground ?...
(that's funny, the avatars show correctly in the quotes...)
avatar
moonshineshadow: *happy to see you hug*
Not sure if you missed anything important in the last days, but we missed you!

Until gog fixes the avatars in the forum, the new ones are only shown in quotes and in chat.
avatar
Empress_Owl: I'm happy to see you too !! I missed everyone...
**Big hugs all around**
How are you doing ?
avatar
CarrionCrow: Good morning. =)

-breaks out the new extra-extra large wading pool full of coffee- This one comes with extra insulation. No need to worry about cold baths anymore.
avatar
Empress_Owl: **happily dive in coffee**
Thanks a lot !! I like all these little improvements...
how was your weekend ?
Oh shit, the owl. :D *pets the owl*

Doing okay here. I have a shirt, electricity, and peanut butter, so I can't complain :-)
And yourself?
I'm willing to bet if you sold the shirt, you could get you a coffee. ;)
Good morning!

That's good to hear. It's nothing too serious i think/hope. I'm used to getting ill in October ;)
avatar
ElTerprise: Might be good idea - the cutting out the drugs not climbing the walls i mean ;)
Guess so - it's nothing serious - i usually get that around this time when it gets colder.

Yes. I also looking forward to the singleplayer - mostly because i'm not the biggest fan of multiplayer - aside from co-op.
I wouldn't be too sad if the PVP multiplayer won't get funded. A co-op campaign would've been nice though. Maybe they'll do an add-on later like Dragonfall...
And co-op campaign are not that common (unfortunately) - and i must admit that i enjoyed it in Red Alert 3 although the game wasn't that great in general.
Yeah, it is. Just have to suffer to make that happen.

There's no way in hell they won't be making sequels with this one already being a success, and the revenue's only going to climb after its official release. This is the exact same process as with Shadowrun. They're starting with the basics, then they'll up the complexity and variety as it goes along.

That's one thing that makes Battletech superior to Shadowrun to me. They can't keep gradually building on like they have with Shadowrun. The game's set in 3025. 25 years after that, a huge faction of invaders known as the Clans show up to take over the galaxy. The Clans have their own Mechs, their own weapons, and it's all vastly superior to what the game world will have in 3025. Players will want that next. I know I do. And so, the company will keep having to build on what they have more heavily than they have with the Shadowrun series, because the lore, the canon, the 30 plus years of tabletop games and books have to be adhered to. If they try to stray from that, they'll make every single long-time player angry as all hell.

Additional - Whoever picked Mount and Blade as the staff pick wins the imaginary prize.

Downloading some PSN games I got while gone. HD remaster of the gamecube resident evil remake and resident evil 4, ps1 versions of namco museum volumes 1 through 5 and tekken 1 and 2
I despise chav celebrities and the TV channels they appear in.
Most of all though I despise those who watch it; apologetically.

A question, is a chav considered a wigger, a redneck or a combination of both?

How are you doing, Pimp ? except from coughing your lungs out ?
It's been ages since I last saw you in there...

Yeah....it's not easy.

Well i guess so too and the way they did it with Shadowrun was pretty good imho.
But you're right that they have to do bigger steps for a sequel to include those changes to the universe.

Good thing is that i have some till the release to get more familiar with the universe :)

Doing pretty well other than being sick, had to take some time off from the place but feels good to be back. :) *hugs and pets owl*
Since Mount & Blade is the weekly promo, I guess I'll go to the thread whenever it pops up to spit out one of my lists of total overhaul mods for Mount & Blade and Warband. Pretty sure I'm over 10 of them so far...

Mornin'/Noon/Evenin' people!

I've never played a Battletech game and know nothing of the universe. But knowing who is making it has me tempted to back it, as much as I've loved the Shadowrun games.
