Good time-of-day, folks! I can't even make sense of how much I've slept in the past couple days. I suppose I've needed it. I hope you're all enjoying your day, or at least having the best day you can! I'll be back to start catching up on the thread a bit after making the lady and pup some breakfast. :)
;)
If you're ever inspired to share more music, please do! If the folks of this thread aren't a big fan of the music-hijackings, feel free to send me a chat.
There's a lot of Lynch's work I still haven't been exposed to, but I really do enjoy what I've seen... I used to have fun making my mother watch weird things on tv with me, and Eraserhead was one of my favorites for those times. She still holds a grudge against me for exposing her to that one. ;)
Stilton: Phew, I've just finished! Its amazing how quickly a person can change their body shape from reasonably slim to titanically round...
The Straight Story is amazing. Such thought provoking music, and if you haven't seen the film its really worth a look. Sissy Spacek is amazing in it. Anything by David Lynch is good, though, including listening to him talk about Transcendental Meditation on YouTube. Such an interesting man.
I loved the exchange, too, although when it takes off like it did I worry that I'm gathering too much speed and steamrollering the other party. Like you, I have so much music in my head I could carry on for ages. I'm glad TSS made a good soundtrack to spend some of your day with :-)

ScotchMonkey: I hate not being able to have milk. Not because I really liked it, but I can't have any cereal without it!
Have you ever had cerial with water? It tastes like a dead dream.
Have you tried soy milk or almond milk? I can't have milk either, but when I still ate cereal, I enjoyed it more with soy or almond milk than with dairy. Especially vanilla almond milk. Very tasty. I'll still occasionally pull the marshmallows out of a box of Lucky Charms or Frankenberry or some such and just dump those in some soy or almond milk. Yum! Have you ever had cerial with water? It tastes like a dead dream.
;)
AgentBirdnest: Everyone do me a favour, and hit Stilton with +1s until your mouse breaks?
I just received a lovely gift from him, which increases my positive as pluckiness today by about 816% :-)
Will do! Glad to hear you're taking on the day with positivity, even if you're dealing with some less-than-positive things today. :) I just received a lovely gift from him, which increases my positive as pluckiness today by about 816% :-)
*by the way, according to the spell check here, "positivity" isn't a word. Actually made me question myself, so I had to run it by Google to make sure I wasn't making up words. Coffee time, methinks. :)

I've run into that one a few times, and had to Oogle it to make sure. In the end though, I don't care if it's a word. It feels right in my head, and I figure everyone will know what it means anyway ;-)

Happy saturday for you too .... and thank you. I actually haven't forgotton it today :)
LeoLR: According to what I read Michael Dorn will do several voiceovers for the new MoO. And the people making the game are looking to have other science-fiction actors lending their voices to the game.
Cool :) Happy saturday for you too .... and thank you. I actually haven't forgotton it today :)

Good moaning shoggoths and byakhees.
I've decided to clear one particular game from my backlog and nothing will stand in my way of doing so.
Thus I've decided to engage in an endurance run of the first witcher. What does that mean you say? Well basically I'm gonna play the hell out of that game like a chinese gold-farmer with no life. or your average wow player, until one of us gives up, me or the game.
Odds are on the game.
'Ere we go!
