I think I'll call it a night, at least for now, as well myself. I've got some really fascinating paintings on the inside of my eyelids, and I think I'll take some time to study them. :)

*hugs and waves all around*

Thanks to all of you for the fun and conversation today... really kept my spirits in the best of places. :)
I'm loving Shadowrun: Dragonfall. Actual dialogue trees everywhere! Different responses for different dialogue choices! So much dialogue, so much roleplaying opportunity!

My only issue with it so far is that I think the UI from Returns is better than the one in Dragonfall. but that's an extremely minor quibble.
Looks really interesting.....and i heard Worf in that video...if i'm not mistaken :)

According to what I read Michael Dorn will do several voiceovers for the new MoO. And the people making the game are looking to have other science-fiction actors lending their voices to the game.

Dragonfall is a very good game. Glory is my personal favorite when it comes to runner companions.

Not sure if it's the same for every class, but playing as a mage they really introduce her with a bang. Now I just have to figure out how to use her to the best of her ability. She's a rigger, right? I mostly just kept her out of the way in the tutorial since she missed pretty much every single shot, even the called ones.

Glory is a street samurai with a built-in adrenal pump that lets her get an extra action point every few turns, along with having cyber claws and a number of attacks that do a good job of tearing enemies up in melee.
Unless my memory's totally gone to crap, I believe there's a decker, a shaman, a melee-based samurai and a ranged sniper/shotgun-using samurai.

Well, so much for my memory. -laughs- Doublechecked, and the decker is also a rigger. Really, they're not fantastic at either one. That at least explains why I didn't remember that part. I was using the samurai as the heavy hitters, keeping the decker in the background.

Weird, I checked her stats in-game and it seemed she was useless with guns and at melee, but that might've been just because it was the tutorial, can't have 'em maxed out for that, heh.

Monika is a decker, Dietrich is a shaman and I'm sure Eiger is the ranged samurai, assuming you're talking about the runners you start with.

Edit: Eh, if it makes any difference I'm just past Dragonfall's tutorial.

If nothing else, I can tell you she gets better. As she develops, you can either give her better pistol skills, better melee skills or better healing items since she's also a medic.

Apologies, my memory's usually crap. Ended up needing to look online to refresh it a bit.
There is evil afoot! EEEEVVVVVILLLLLLL!!!!

No worries!

I would definitely expect her to get better, even in Returns Coyote got better err....less terrible as the game went on. Had no idea she's a medic, that should come in handy if Dragonfall is tougher than Returns. Honestly in Returns I never used a health pack and only had a mage heal my characters a few times, that game was way too easy (at least on normal/medium).

It'll be okay, Ernest Borgnine. There's pretty much always evil afoot around here. It's just more generally polite than in other places. =)
