Getting a bit behind on the thread and not feeling real 'up' and talkative today but I'll have to add a few things before I go back to lurking.

Thanks for all the great music being posted, I've saved links to every one.

Stilton, I imagine not having to wait 'for the other shoe to drop' all the time is rather like being freed from prison. ;)
The way you talk of being in the country and being glad you left London makes your current place sound pretty good anyway, at least to me. I'd LOVE to live more out in the country.

My favorite dinosaur is this one.

And I'm glad to finally be able say I know someone who was REALLY hit by a bus. Good going Super. :-)

Hope you all have a great day!

XxXSprayvWarXxX: So, do you have the SWAT games? I guess you do, do you like them?
I have all three. Picked them up to have the whole series. SWAT 4 is the best of the bunch, but it's not here yet.

Nice, because that's the games that caught my eye from this promo.

CarrionCrow: Feeling a bit odd at the moment. Only had one item left on the promo, and it kept bugging me, so I grabbed it. Now I'm thinking I grabbed a game primarily for kids, just to get the noise in my head to shut up about it.
Which game was it? Has one noise been exchanged for another? Kid's games are OK - I still play with LEGO from time to time (don't tell anyone I said that...)

Will keep the talking to a bare minimum. Hope the phase passes quickly. Take it easy.

Torin's Passage. The only Activision game I didn't already have.

The noise always gets replaced until I can block it out.

No shame to that. Legos are fun. Pity the frigging things are so expensive now.

Hi Endre :-) I hope the low period passes soon (nothing bad, I hope), and I'm glad you liked the music. That exchange took off for a while, didn't it. Finding you like a piece of music someone recommends is a bit like a free gift.

'The other shoe' is a good way of putting it. I'm just glad all that hassle and expectation is done with. Its amazing it lasted a whole year. I'll be winning the lottery tonight, so its cash on the nose next time ;-)

I didn't know there was a pizzasaurus - you learn something every day :-)

And London just seems scary these days. Having trees around and miles of greenery is so good for the senses. If you have the urge to move out, I'd investigate rather than not doing it at all. It makes such a difference. I used to get out of London and into the country as often as I could before we moved, which is what made me decide it was really where I wanted to be. I'm glad it eventually happened.

Thank you, Lord of Hugs! I now feel hugged :-)

Hey, Endre! Sorry to hear you're not feeling very 'up' today. I hope things improve as the day progresses. That's an excellent dinosaur, by the way. ;)

*I'm off to get a bit more sleep myself... the body is letting me know in its own amusing ways that it isn't up to me right now, and the pup is of the same mind and is napping in his kennel. A bit more napping and then perhaps I'll be ready for the day to "begin." :)
Quick and easy way to feel more disgust and contempt for people - reading the archived thread where random idiots support and egg on a fucked up person who shoots up a school the next day.

Which one was this?
There was another yesterday:

Stilton: 25 years of unity sounds interesting. Do you do anything special? Surely you don't celebrate by cutting down trees...
Not really ;)
Cutting down trees is no longer necessary - because i already did that the last hours :D

Well i don't have any real plans - i'm not really into celebrating national holidays (although it is definitely special this year). But maybe meeting with some friends or something like that :)
That's the one I'm referring to. Was bouncing around reading Twitter and saw the thread. People supporting before it happened, and celebrating after.

AgentBirdnest: Did anyone ever play "Empires: Dawn of the Modern World"? Pretty sure it is owned by Activision. I always wanted to try that one, but couldn't find a copy. It was on the competition for a while, but was removed.
Anytime Activision has a sale here, I am reminded of it. Wish it would show up here.
[/shameless plug] :-p
Oh....i never had the chance to play that one either...thanks for reminding me of it. Wasn't it from the original Empire Earth developers?
Oh and i already some time ago :P

That's the reason I'm rather down in the dumps today. Reading that crap killed any good mood I had going.
