NoNewTaleToTell: What are you in the mood for?
Not quite sure. Grabbed the first Bethesda bundles, only to end up being bored with Doom 1 and telling Doom 2 to go violate itself with a corkscrew based on the utter idiocy of the final boss. No interest in Quake 3, and I'm getting the same "it's going to make me feel dumb for buying it without a deeper discount" feeling from Wolfenstein that I ended up with on Doom.
Good evening everyone *big hugs and waves* :)

ddickinson: As long as you smiled that is all that matters. :-)
It would be a bit impractical, but fun, especially if you got to fire it. Have a nice time at your sports.
True :D
Thanks. It would help a lot to get rid of slow trains ahead of the train i'm working on :P

Stilton: Thanks, Elt :-)

It feels fairly minor, to be honest. I'm actually looking forward to getting it done as I don't mind minor surgery. I had four operations on my neck about twenty years ago (in that instance more major than minor) and I really enjoyed it - it was fascinating. Although recovering can get a little awkward/painful.
You're welcome. That's good to hear. In that case it's understandable that you want to get it done. Surgeries on the neck doesn't sound too pleasant imho...

AgentBirdnest: Reese's Pieces :-)
... and then Return to Castle Wolfenstein.

Looking at anything in particular, or do you just want to buy anything but don't have an idea yet? :-)
Dear gods, no Reese's Pieces. I'm fat enough as it is, don't need an overpowering urge to devour bagfuls of those.

Felt like grabbing something in general. Just picked up Terra Nova, System Shock 1 and Shadow Watch. That'll do. (For now...)

Well the next big sale should be within a month or two, I would wait until then to pick up any of the games Bethesda released today. I'm not going to make a statement on their overall quality, but like we talked earlier they seem overpriced even on discount right now. Maybe the weekend promo will have something more interesting?

Hopefully. It's been a while since I had a bunch of stuff show up on one of those.

If you'd care to hear about them I'd be happy to oblige. I don't want to gross anyone out, but as I said, I did find them interesting :-)

Stilton: Intense in how you challenge your body, I presume? I remember seeing a physiotherapist once who caused me intense discomfort, but later I realized how amazing what he'd done to me was. I felt so 'clean' it was like being on a high. I imagine yoga can be the same kind of thing.
Yep, and a thorough workout can be quite exhausting. One thing I really notice is that different things are easy or hard for different people. I always go with a friend, and the things she struggles with I breeze through, whereas positions that I find really difficult are easy for her. I'm doing yoga because I have a couple of injuries as well, and figuring out how to train those problem areas without overtaxing them can be a bit of a challenge as well. It's not uncommon to free up emotions during yoga either. I've heard some people cry every once in a while as they're doing it. I've never experienced that but after a good workout I tend to be on a happy-high and feel really great in general.

Big releases for the FPS crowd today. Shame about the German region locks, but law is law, I suppose...

Good afternoon!

Good afternoon!
We have some good smugglers who managed to spirit the goods across the border.

Good afternoon.
It's not that easy - it's comes down to the question whether games are art or not. Because being recognised as art in Germany make a huge difference when it comes to the depiction of unconstitutional symbols - that's why movies like Indiana Jones or Inglorious Basterds can depict swastikas etc...

FearfulSymmetry: Hi ElT, how are you doing? *hugs*
Hey *big return hug*
A bit tired from volleyball but otherwise fine - aside from the region lock bullshit of course :)

But at least you had a good workout, right? ;) I haven't really looked at the release threads yet so I don't know much about it. Are they blocking it for Germany?

Heh... Maybe Skittles then; fruit is good for you n__o

Sounds like a nice little bundle. I can't wait to give System Shock a go, once I finally get off my lazy arse and get Windows 7 installed on this old rig :-p

Are they playing Blackwell while doing yoga? :-)
