Good morning, everybody! *hugs and waves*

LeoLR: Hello everyone!

I had a really unusual experience today while walking back home. On a corner in the street near my home I saw a guy playing a trumpet. He was just standing there playing some jazz.

I was feeling down for reasons I cannot fathom and his tune brightened my day. I don't know how long I stood there listening but after some time I approached him and I whispered a thanks. He nodded and kept playing and I resumed my way home.

I should have taken a picture because I realize that this story sounds like a fantasy.
Sorry for these disjointed sentences. I just wanted to share this with you anyway.
A great story! Sometimes street musicians can really cheer up your heart.

We have lots of annoying street musicians here in Berlin, but at one subway station where I change every day on my way to work, there is a great accordeon player who plays classical music all the time - today it was Vivaldi's Spring from Four Seasons. That really makes me smile all the time I pass! And a good jazz musician on the street is really a gift :D
Good morning everyone *big hugs and waves*

Fine, but tired. My wife had to get up at 5:30 and I couldn't go back to sleep after that...

Hello!

I'm doing good, deciding whether I want to eat my potato salad cold or warm, and wondering if John Cena is gonna show up!

How are you?

Glad to heat that you're doing fine but that is really unfortunate....sounds like more coffee is needed ;)

Thanks for doing so. It made me smile :-)
Haven't seen a street musician in ages. I could count on seeing some any time I was in Salt Lake City, but since moving out to Bumblepluck, Utah, I haven't been so lucky :-p
Cool story. Those little and odd moments are some of the best ones.

... and good morning, lovely thread. Hopefully everyone is doing well, or at the very least, not terrible.

superstande: Ah yeah that was the name! :) there were also expansions for it. There was also a computer game called Space Crusade, it was okayish, but not a great game. I remember the interface was rather well done and gameplay. But there was lots of repetition involved. I had that on amiga some 15 years ago :)

CarrionCrow: I've heard of that one, but never had a chance to play it. Amiga centered around Mechforce and Eye of the Beholder 1 for me.
Ah you had amiga too! :)
And correction to that ownership ; more like 20 years ago :)
ToxicTom, Crow and me, the infamous amiga clique of gog? :p

Good morning! Doing good, but tell you the truth I was a bit freaked out by (for me) last night's grim comments by a certain poster.. fell asleep so I didn't answer much...

Unfortunately I never had one, although I considered the Amiga to be very cool. I stood with my C64 until I switched to PC (80286, green/black Monochrome, 20 MB HDD - played Wizardry 6 on it back then).
Just got store credit for Starpoint Gemini 2 and its DLC. Not sure whether to use it now on Way of the Samurai 4 (which I want) or to wait for the next big sale or whatever today's sale is.

Hm... A tough question. Difficult to determine. So, instead of answering with words, I'm choosing a colour again. Today I am pale yellow :-p ... Or, if you don't like colours, how about a song instead? :-)

[/only slightly crazy, I swear] 8-p

Hm...i interpret pale yellow as being not as good as green ;)

Considering the discount for Way of the Samurai will the be there for a week i'd say it's safe to wait until the weekend sale or at least today's releases show up...

Hm, that sucks. Hopefully you didn't fall asleep on your keyboard? We already have a Crow here ;-p
